Drew Brees 14 td's Graham = 6 td's Next guy has 2 td's rec = Pierre Thomas. I would say that Graham makes a difference. Matt Stafford = 15 td's 1 more than Brees C Johnson - 6 td's J Fauria - 5 td's R Bush - 2 td's

If not Graham will be someone else. Hell Meachem may even get one. They are both good QB's and teams. Now lets talk about the opponent. Who do they play? So it looks like we need to check the matchups. I really need a good schedule.

Both teams are at home in a dome. Detroit plays Dallas. Dallas gives up 291 yds passing average per game. This number is inflated because the Chargers torched em. LOL
N.O plays Buffalo. which gives up 256 yds per game. Buffalo give up more points per game by 3.
Sounds like a coin toss to me. So I still take Brees.

Stafford could easily outscore Brees. But I would never bench Brees. I thought about benching Brees for Bradford early on in the year after Bradford had been scoring more points and had a better matchup. Brees put up over 30. Don't bench Brees.

Jeeze.. flip a coin lol? Umm, Brees is tough to bench.. but Stafford has also been great this year.. I doubt I could bench Brees.

Well I haven't checked but he is probably in my league and winning. So I'm saying bench them both and pick up Ponder.

Jeff I'd go with Brees. I don't like Stafford's matchup as much as I do Brees. I don't like Stafford as much as Brees point blank because Brees has more weapons, and he's like Brady, he can take receiver x and make them into a viable player. Without Megatron, Staffords value drops dramatically.

So Cobb is out and Jennings gone and James Jones out, Do you bench Rodgers? Rivers lost Alexander and Floyd do you bench Rivers? If Denvers Graham goes out do you bench Manning? I rest my case. Good offensive teams with great passers "Next guy up". Graham doesn't make Bree's great, Brees makes Brees great. Ya think Bree's and the Saints are going to run the ball because Graham is limping? baaaaaaaaahaaaaahaaa. He still has better options than Stafford. Except one. Who is Denver's Graham?!?? As you sorta suggested, sometimes you DO bench a stud. Brady is a prime example. He's been stripped of options through no fault of his own. You don't necessarily bench your stud in Brees for a 1 week great matchup for Tannehill or even Cutler. But Stafford is not chopped liver. If it's CLOSE in talent/production, I bench the stud in a heartbeat if surrounding circumstances dictate it (injuries, opponent). They are 1 good WR away from me starting him over Brees without Graham. But NOS hosting BUF, this is a no-brainer. Not saying BUF has a bad DEF - but not good enough to tip the scales.
