In this thread, we can predict how a prospect's draft stock will change. We can predict a player with a high draft stock to take a fall out of the first/second round, as well as predict a player with a low draft stock to soar up the rankings.
I'll go first to get things going:
These players are all projected first rounders right now, and I'm predicting them to fall out of the first round on draft day: Louchiez Purifoy Tajh Boyd Bradley Roby
These players are all projected 4th round or lower right now, and I think they'll rise from now to draft day: Max Bullough (projected 5th rounder right now) Beau Allen (projected 7th rounder right now) Jeremy Gallon (projected 7th rounder right now) Chaz Sutton (projected 7th rounder right now) TJ Jones (projected 7th rounder right now) Trey Burton (projected undrafted right now)

Chris Smith Chris Smith Chris Smith...to rise that is...
Purifoy is really good, imo. Boyd will go in the 1st round based purely on potential. I like him better than I did Manuel at this point, and I think Boyd has even more potential than Manuel does...Manuel still went in the 1st.

You think he rises to the first? And about Purifoy - He's EXTREMELY athletic, but extremely raw. I could see him getting drafted in the first based on potential/athleticism, but as an actual corner he has much work to do. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't understand when teams draft in the first/second based on nothing but potential. The late rounds are where developmental players who aren't expected to immediately contribute should go. I think the first/second round should be reserved for players who can make an immediate impact.

Sean Mannion, Michael Crichton ....Rise. I also think Mariota surpasses Bridgewater even if the chickens fail to win pac 12. Think your right about Boyd, also love that you put Roby as a Faller... any of your risers from Michigan? ???hmm

Also agree Mannion should be getting more looks than he is. Who is Michael Crichton? I googled the name and all I got was a book author. I mean Roby arguably has the most potential out of all the CBs in the draft, but like Purifoy out of Florida, I think he needs a lot of work. I do know Abbredaris from Wisconsin and some WR from Northwestern burned him multiple times. Seriously, Roby has legit 4.3-4.4 speed, and he's getting beat deep like that. Should never happen with the speed Roby has. I do have Jeremy Gallon from Michigan, although I think I have a legit case with him. I'm not saying he'll be drafted high, but he should definitely go higher than the 7th round. He's EASILY the best WR Michigan has had since Mario Manningham. Has the best hands on the team, Runs great routes, deceptive speed, easily creates separation from his defender.. You name it. The only real knock on him is he's too small. Only 5'8.

CBS has Smith going in the 2nd round right now. You think he rises to the first? Oh really? Didn't know he was rated that high. Nah, he won't go in the 1st. He's had 3 straight games now without a sack.
