Are you watching the same game as me Jancey? He has all day long. The line is not the problem. He's been sacked once. The run blocking is good. His pass protection has been darn near perfect. I'm sorry but that last INT was over thrown. The announcer says. "That's not Eli's fault" haha It never is. All three of them tonight were someone else's fault.

Every time I watch the Giants, Eli has no time to throw...and it hasn't been much different tonight from what I've seen. INT was Eli's fault. He had time. Open man. Threw high and a little behind.

Craig, what game are YOU watching? Our guys are getting spun around on the OL.
We finally got some run blocking today, and it showed, as we got 100+ yards with Jacobs.
Last pick was a little high on Eli, but still could have been had. As with the other 2 INTs, not great passes by Eli, but he has GOT to get the chemistry going with Randle. They are not on the same page.

Eli had all day. I watched the game from a totally unbias prospective. He was not pressured even very often. He had great pockets to step into. The majority of the time he had all day. Every QB is going to be pressured now and then. I totally disagree that the OL was the problem tonight for the Giants. Eli is not playing well. 15 int's in six games tells the story.
Last pick was more than a little high. That's not Calvin out there. A good throw and it would have been complete.

All day? Jeez. He had a good amount of time for probably about 4 or 5 plays. He was pressured a lot, with a couple of times - Eli bailing them out and getting them some yards.
OL had its best game today, but that is not saying much. they still were not that great at all.
Last INT. Yes, it was high, but it did have a chance. And Myers has been the worst TE for us in a while. Just can't do anything.

First pick was 100% on Eli IMO he should never have thrown it. Second one was on Randall and Eli not having any chemistry and the 3rd one was on Eli trying to force it to a player.
Blocking wasn't horrible in the first half.. I fell asleep for the second half so I don't know up until the last 4 minutes (Frickin big comfortable reclining chairs!) But honestly the blocking was terrible. There were plenty of times Eli had time to throw but his WRs weren't getting open enough. And then there was a few times where he made throws he shouldn't have.
Eli knows how to work the pocket that showed, but he is still part of the problem. The Giants offense as as a whole looks off. Jacobs got the run going today with a few big plays were he ran over people so that improved and gave Eli more time. But the receiver weren't getting open and Manning wasn't hitting his targets well. The O-line still needs to be better though.
ftr Eli is on pace to throw 40 INTs. Amazingly if he does he still won't break the single season record of 42 by George Blanda.. How the hell was he still playing after 30 picks in a season??

I love ya Plax, but you have Eli blinders on. Eli is a good QB. But he is not playing well. And everyone makes excuses for him. Is it because he's a Manning? Has two rings? I don't know. But you need to admit he's not playing well. He had time.

But you need to admit he's not playing well. He had time. Did I say Eli played great today? The INT thing is a big problem for us. He is putting too much pressure on himself. He knows they need him to get them back in it, but he thinks to hard and tried to make the big play. You cannot say the OL was good, though. Diehl literally got SPUN around one play. On another, one of our blockers got trashed by a Bears rusher. Cordle stands there half of the time. Boothe blocked Beatty's back on a couple of plays. Do not remember the 1st INT and what was going on too much. All I know was that it was intended for Randle who didn't turn back around. The 2nd INT, again, Randle didn't turn around, but Eli staring him down the entire play didn't help either. The 3rd, it was high, but Myers still had a shot to catch it, and when you are a receiving TE, you gotta make that play.

I mean Eli got sacked once, and I bet he wasn't hit more than twice. That's a series for Rivers. Give Rivers that kind of time that I saw tonight and he would pick you apart. Maybe we just have different idea's of good OL play due to the teams we watch. No OL is perfect. But the Giants OL did real good against the Bears. Eli made mistakes.

There were mistakes, but the Giants hung in the game a lot better than I thought they would. If they can keep this up then they should get things turned around. Being down 0-6 isn't good though, and I doubt you guys can win all but 1 game for the rest of the season. So now you have to prioritize what is important. I'd expect the Giants to be cautious with their players from this time forward. It's a very real possibility that they'll have a top 5 pick in the draft. I know it sucks for this season, but fiscally (if we consider draft picks of monetary value) they can cash in either on a good player or extra draft picks to shore everything up via the draft and FA. Now it maybe a real possibility that some players get traded too.
