Between this and all the Cowboys comments today, I'd say you're about to crack. You okay? Cowboys and arrogant coaches....pisses me off....xoxoxox I don't understand the arrogant label. How is holding back injury news arrogant? If anything he does it for a competitive edge which is the opposite if arrogant right?

Cowboys and arrogant coaches....pisses me off....xoxoxox Love the honesty, and a good laugh. I think a lot of what Belichick has worked towards and been respected for for years was compromised this year with the Welker thing alone, TBH. SOOOO many people saying this was a good deal, despite the INCREASED PAY for Amendola. It blew my mind, I swear it did. Got rid of Woodhead, doing well in SD. They knew Gronk was iffy. BB made every wrong move this season. It's an absolute miracle they are 5-1, a miracle. They are getting Gronk back soon, and if all goes well should make the playoffs. If they were in almost ANY other division in the NFL, they are toast, IMHO.

They'd still be dominating the AFC south, AFC north, or NFC east.
The AFC east is like the second strongest division in the AFC this year. By the way, know who the first is this year? Bam, AFC West!

I forgot that Belichick somehow knew that Hernandez was going to get arrested, that Gronk wasnt going to be ready for the season, and that Vereen was going to go down week 1. And stop with this bad division/easy schedule stuff. We have one of the tougher schedules in the nfl this year, and we have played 3 very good football teams, including an undefeated team. It is by no means a miracle that this team is 5-1. We have a top 10 defense in the league, maybe top 5. As well as a top 10 running game, that actually ranked 5th last season.

If you'll notice, I didn't say a word about Hernandez and Vereen. Sorry, but I don't think Gronk's issues were unforeseeable. The team's mgmt is not the last the know. They took a gamble and lost. Shane Vereen is by no means close to anything they should have depended on. He's barely an afterthought, or shoulda been. Hernandez is the only thing here I could see as a huge unforeseen blow. Funny you mention all this fluff, and not even address the main issue, which was letting go of Welker, and not saving a stinking penny by doing it. Understand this...my point, may not be yours apparently, is that in light of 2 other issues, and even if NO ISSUES, he made a huge mistake. Not about to get blue in the face again about what Welker meant to Brady (not to mention he's got 7 TDs now, more than he had all last year). His departure was at least as big a blow as Gronk's (not too shocking) late start. Healthy, the most consistent slot receiver if not WR in the league for years, do you not get that? Okay, I'm turning blue now, and it's not a good look. lol

They didn't go with Amendola to save money. They went with him because Welker had already decided to walk, and he's younger.
Vereen was very much a big blow early this year.
I'm not even a Pats fan and even I get tired of all the 'see amendola sucks, shoulda woulda coulda kept Welker'. Injuries are always unfortunate. But when Jamaal Charles was hurt for a season I wasn't sitting at home wishing we'd kept Larry Johnson. You have to move on at some point.

He is much more talented than Danny Woodhead, and thats why we turned over the keys to him. Woodhead was signed for barley over 1 million a year, if we wanted him he could still be here. We couldve brought Welker back to, but we didnt. We had the cap to sign both of them and would still have over 7 million left in cap room. We choose not to and while the media loves to make it seem like it has caused all these problems, we are sitting here at 5-1 with a good defense, good running game, and passing game that is only going to get better. Last year our receiving core was one of the oldest in the NFL, this year it is the youngest in the NFL. Dobson, Thompkins, Amendola, and Boyce are long term guys. Welker and Lloyd didnt have much time left, so we moved on.

Okay, I'm turning blue now, and it's not a good look. lol You seem to forget that a back surgery happened late in the offseason, not early in the offseason like you make it seem. It happened after Welker signed with Denver, after Lloyd was let go, and right around the time Hernandez was arrested. So you can say they knew, but they obviously didnt. And lol Shane Vereen is very much something you can depend on. Vereen will have a huge role on this team when he returns. Every time vereen has got a chance to perform, he has performed.
