You are a shithead In the league I am in with Jancey I am first by a wide margin! ftr.. Wrong. We are tied. Along with 4 other teams. Points scored don't matter. It goes: Wins, H2H, Division, THEN points scored! And besides, you only score 5 more points than juggs and 20 more than me... Points scored should matter. The most points scored means the best team. That means he would have beaten anyone he played that week... meaning he was the best team. Wins and H2H are 100% luck, because you could be the 2nd best team every week but get matched up against the one team that does better. Or you could be the 2nd worst team but get lucky and play the worst team every week. Since you have no control over your opponents score, your own score is the best way to judge the best team. Your own score is only about 80% luck.

The way this league is designed though - You want to dominate your division. You win your division - you're a top 4 seed in the playoffs. 4 division winners - top 2 seeds get a bye. 2 Wild Cards.
I disagree about H2H vs points scored though. If you and another guy are tied for the last playoff spot or for whatever - whoever won the H2H matchup should get in IMO. I would usually say points scored comes next. However - in this case..the only way the H2H matchup won't break the tie is if the tie is within your division. Because you play the 2 teams in your division twice and everyone else once. So then if the tie is with a guy in your division, it comes down to who did better in the 4 divisional games. If it's still tied - points scored.

Ok, I've got another question...Mendenhall or Gore? I'm starting gore in a similar situation. AP had one super long run, but then went 17 for 15, might have been because they were pumped up against AP but the lions run D looks like no joke. I know the Seahawks are great too, but gore > mendenhall

Lol ADB.
I never thought I'd be considering playing Mendy over Gore...however, Frank Gore rushed 6 times for 28 yards last year @ Seattle. And 17 attempts for 38 yards in 2010.
I just don't trust him @ Seattle. However, I take back my question. I'm not sitting Gore for Mendy...

Well, since we are playing, I may be the wrong person to ask for advice...... But there is no way I start Mendy over Gore......

Wouldn't be surprised if Mendy outscored him. I've had gore in a few of the past years now and whenever I have him I have learned that more often than not its just better to play him. Also Seattles D gave up 86 yards to D-Williams last week on 17 carries.. 5YPC. Gore is a hell of a lot better than Williams and actually has a good offensive line ahead of him.
