First of all, your taste in teams SUCKS lol j/k
What I wanted to do with this thread is to give you a few rookies and upcoming players to watch out for tonight as they are most likely to help us out, or to be a sleeper IMO
Lets get the obvious ones out of the way first, other then the first string offense, which is still a must watch but i see 1 QTR at most of any of them playing for.
Terrell Pryor (QB) Taiwan Jones (RB) David Ausberry (TE) Jacoby Ford (WR) Rob Streeter (WR) Junior Criner (WR) Shawntee Spencer (CB) Ron Bartell (CB) Van Dyke (CB) (This dude I dislike after last year, but apparently he's been doing better so we shall see today) Brandon Underwood (CB) Aaron Henry (DB Listed as S) Chaz Powell (DB Listed as S) Jack Crawford (DE) Miles Burris (LB) Nathan Stupar (LB)
Brandon Carswell and Tray Sessions may produce enough to make the team, but we are deep at WR and don't see both of them making it if one does.
These are the players that have been brought in either last year that need to step up or this year by the new regime and will give everyone a view on which direction that they are wanting to go in the After Al Era

My question is why the Raiders would pick up Matt Leinart..

They brought him in because of Knapp. Leinart has experince in his system from last year, and was brought in to help teach the new system to the QBs and other skill players. Until he broke his collarbone Matt was doing good for the Texans, so for a back up that knows the system I'm happy to have him.
I do think we see Pyror get alot of playing time tonight, Palmer should only be in for a couple of drives then it will be either him or Leinart for #2 then #3 (which i feel will be Pryor) should play the second half of the game. We have a 4th, Kyle Newhall-Caballero, but to be honest, I know nothing about him at all. If he does come in it will be late 4th.
