Saints related tidbits:
Injury notes - Only two players did not participate in practice due to injury today - Darren Sproles and Jahri Evans.
Martez Wilson waived by the Raiders. - Looks like we made the right move waiving him. Something must be up. He has all the tools to be successful, but can't seem to stay on a team.
Victor Butler returned to practice. - Will be a nice addition when he eventually returns, he's a good player.
CB Trevin Wade has been signed. - This is definitely a depth addition in light of Greer's injury. I don't know if we'll need him, but it's nice to have another body available.
Drew Brees is going to break two records tomorrow night. (assuming we win) - First record: With a win, Drew Brees will pass Terry Bradshaw on the all time wins list, becoming #9 with 108 wins. The next person he will pass is Joe Montana, who has 117 wins. Second record: Drew Brees needs 38 passing yards to pass Warren Moon, and when that happens, Drew Brees will be top 5 all time in passing yardage.

Brees is a great player but he isn't even going to tie either record much less break them.......

I meant to say he's going to pass those certain people, not break the record entirely. Maybe I worded it badly, sorry about that. I don't think it's far-fetched to say the Saints will win and that Brees will throw for at least 38 yards.

I had a feeling this would be a close game as usual. Defense looked good of course but they couldn't get anything going on offense but they got the win and that's all that matters. Get healthy soon Sproles, going to need you in Seattle

Get healthy soon Sproles, going to need you in Seattle I think our defense is better than our offense this season, which is insane considering all the firepower we have on O. In place of Jabari Greer, Corey White was both really good and really bad. It was a tale of two halves with him. The first half, he was constantly abused by Darius Johnson, a rookie undrafted WR. In the second half though, he started playing press coverage and was lockdown. And my dude Pierre Thomas.. He balled out.

I thought Graham finally looked healthy tonight. That foot injury doesn't seem to be lingering anymore. That's a big plus.
And I agree with you, Sproles will definitely be needed for Seattle. He demands so much attention from defenses. It was obvious our offense was missing him against NYJ, SF, and again tonight.
