Two of three Eagles starters on defense who missed Sunday’s win over the Redskins expect to play the first game after the bye week.
ILB Mychal Kendricks and CB Bradley Fletcher each practiced Tuesday as coach Chip Kelly ran the team through one last session before giving his players off for the rest of the bye week, and each said they’d be ready to play in next Sunday’s game against Arizona at the Linc.
Kendricks missed most of the past two games with a knee injury, and Fletcher missed consecutive starts with a pectoral injury.
Getting these two guys back will be huge. Both are arguably the best at their positions on the team.
Rookie S Earl Wolff, who missed the Redskins game with a knee injury and is expected to be sidelined a few weeks, didn’t participate in Tuesday’s practice. Neither did safety Colt Anderson, a special teams standout who injured his ankle against the Redskins.
The Eagles aren’t required to be back at the NovaCare Complex until next Tuesday.
I'm very optimistic about this Defense and how they have come together and gotten better week in and week out. We will see if they can keep it going against an offense led by Larry Fitzgerald.

If LeSean McCoy isn’t the best all-around back in the NFL, he made a case for being the best all-weather back in the game. In a game changed immeasurably by the measurable snowfall, McCoy’s fourth-quarter touchdown runs of 40 and 57 yards turned what looked like a dispiriting loss into a win with major playoff implications. The Eagles (8-5) scored 28 fourth-quarter points for their fifth win in a row. They took a half-game lead in the NFC East over Dallas...for now.
The Eagles finished with 299 yards rushing against a defense that didn't allow a TD on the ground in the previous eight games and came in allowing the third-fewest yards rushing per game...
Hopefully its snowing in Minny next week so Shady can continue to emerge as the #1 back in the NFL.

I'd say he's very good. He always sells out his body to keep the edge clear....at least from what I've seen...why do you ask?

He is asking cause of the "Best overall back" in the league comment, at least I assume that. I still think Matt Forte is the best all around back in the league as he can Run, Receive and Block with the best of em. He doesn't really have any weakness's. If Shady can block than I would put him right up there with Forte.

Watch any film of McCoy.....He's a complete back through and through. Easily the Best RB in the league this season...sure he needs a good line as any RB....but in my opinion the moves he has...and his durability ....he has passed AP.
