I discussed this with hebert about making this as well. We shall do this as well this year. I can let you be the host of this if you want tonodank since you came up with the idea first. If not, I think we can plan on how to do this Craig-I see what your saying on how the islands work. Its basically the same way of going 1-0 or 0-1 each week. And you just add it up each week until the end of the season, and the best record wins. The traditional way is once you get one wrong, your done for the year. But to make it more appealing for everyone to have fun, using the way that craig suggested is something im all in for We will talk more about this soon I remember you mentioning it earlier in the year and it doesn't really matter to me who hosts it. If there are suggestions on changing the rules a bit so people aren't eliminated quickly I'm ok with it, but if its the traditional 1 and done I can run it since it will be easy to keep track of

We will still do the traditional way and it could help add as a tiebreaker since we will probably do a full year.

Hey guys, so who is running this? Are we doing this here? I was on ESPN earlier today, and I found the Survivor game on there where we can create a group and the CPU automatically keeps track of it for us. Just depends if you guys have ESPN accounts and if you want to do it there or not, it would certainly be a lot easier. games.espn.go.com/nfl-eliminator-challenge/2013/en/game

@bengalmania2 and I have been discussing this in private as well, but since you mentioned, we can get started now.
There are 3 different sites I know where Survivor can be played: ESPN, Fox Sports and Yahoo! Each one of them has slightly different approaches to "surviving":
ESPN: Incorrect picks are allowed throughout the season, being the only consequence a "no score" for each wrong pick.
Fox Sports: Allows no more than 3 incorrect picks. An entrant who picks four games incorrectly is eliminated from contention.
Yahoo!: The only "win-or-go-home" game that I know. One wrong pick and you're out. There are options for "second-chances" as well.
I'd go with Yahoo!, where I already own an account, but decision is up to you.

I sent this to hebert but I think ill post this on here now
We got plenty of options for this game. Hebert is leaning towards yahoo, but I would prefer going the whole season without having to worry about being eliminated
What we will need to do is start a poll on this and find out what everyone else thinks about this.

Didn't know each site had a different way that they run things. I like some danger in it where you can get eliminated, so I'd prefer either fox sports or yahoo. From what you typed I'd prefer Yahoo!

I'm game wherever we decide to play. I'd even play in all three sites if that's the case. However, we could create a poll first - like bengal suggested - and see what option wins. I'm typing from a phone so I can't create a poll now, but if it's possible for someone to do it, that would be cool.
