wait.... you guys edit the player's ratings?? I couldn't control myself if I did, Brady would have Vick-like speed if I edited them I do. Not a lot of players, only ones that are completly wrong. Just great. Then either I have to do a shitload of trades on madden 13 and get everyones player on the right team or I do it on madden 12 and change the statistics on key players.

i rarely ever edited ratings, but fantasy draft was a huge part of the game...

The Demo is REALLY good. The Gameplay has been DRASTICALLY improved.
Several points I want to make.
1) No more Linebackers jumping up at every opportunity to knock down passes - That was my biggest irk. I remember one game I played against my brother I had 4 interceptions with Patrick Willis. That doesn't happen anymore.
2) Easier to Pass Rush/more importance on OL. In past Maddens, you could put any kind of OL on the field and it would hold up well against even the best Pass Rushing teams. Now, if there is a greater difference in ability between DL and OL, the better DL will have a better chance to win.
3) Bigger risks passing. It isn't so much as it is harder to complete passes, but you need to make smarter throws. You cannot just throw a deep bomb every time and expect a good series(good news for Madden junkies who complain about noobs online abusing said action). There is more emphasis on timing and leading receivers into open space. If you make a stupid throw, it will likely get either intercepted or knocked down more often.
4) Cuts are smoother. In '12, I often found it too easy to make cuts and some of them were not realistic. They would just kind of jerk to the left or right and suddenly jump into the right position. Now you have to time it right or you will not get the results you got in '12.
5) Return coverage is better. In my experience in '12, there was very little coverage in Punt Returns. Most of the time, by the time you got the ball, there would already be like 3 guys on top of you and you had to fair catch it most of the time. It is a lot better in '13.
6) Less glitches. You do not have anymore of those instances where body parts seem to just move through each other. Now, if you run into a person, even after a play, you will get some kind of reaction from it. I once fell over my own teammate on a kick return. It is a lot more realistic from that standpoint.
I hope you guys got some idea from that(I have a feeling I wasn't descriptive enough and didn't do it enough justice). If you have any questions let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

I usually play with my brother (who is a lot younger than me) and on the rare occasion he beats me, it is because he heaves up deep bombs to Megatron and Megatron cathces it. It really annoys me. And on a side note: yes I like to beat little children in video games. Don't judge me ;-P 5) YESSS!! Now I'll actually have a chance to return punts and kicks. Returning a kickoff for a TD is a great feeling ;D 6) This has been something I always love at with my bro when we're playing. He loves seeing the players walk through each other. So do I actually. While it is unrealistic, I just find it funny. Or the other glitch where they don't move their feet but somehow slide 6 feet across the field. I like that glitch too.

was just playing the demo. I was the NYG (surprise). 3rd and 2. I do a screen to Nicks. At the marker there was a pile of players, Nicks bumped into them, and bounced off them! that is realistic. usually the player would just glide off the pile. so right now, i am liking some of the small thing they add to the game to make it look and feel more realistic!
however, terrell thomas has no picture, and greg jones still has the black face that are given to some rookies. wth?

I hate how after the play ends, most of the times, there is someone tripping over a fallen body. In real life, people would be smart enough to go around or over them. but most people probably don't even pay attention to that, so no biggie

No Franchise draft, then no i'm not buying it. They can fix every other issue i've had and taking out Fantasy Draft ruins the whole game. I dont care for HoF or Superstar mode, Exhibition mode is pointless, and now franchise would lose its appeal as the most major component is missing in my offline leagues and any online that i'd want to join....
I hope sales plummet and either force EA to add the free DLC or the nfl to give up the exclusive rights contract it has with EA
