@jeffb2865 you DO know that Kaep is going in the 4th round in almost every draft, right? I didnt know but its all hype. lol. The latest thing. I like about 12 Qb's better than Kap.

REALLY?
@jeffb2865
PM them to me. I do not want you to show your cards to the rest of the league. Would like to talk about your QB rankings with you. I haven't discussed FF in a while.

The other qbs available that I was thinking about were Luck and Wilson. It came down between Wilson and Kap because they can score more points by rushing. It was a literally a coin flip and Kap won

Yeah, I got RG3 in the 9th and Morris in the 12th last year...... 4th is early for a QB.......

Yeah, I got RG3 in the 9th and Morris in the 12th last year...... 4th is early for a QB....... Both were rookies and some people didn't even know about Morris until the pre-season. I think comparing two rookies with relatively low FF expectations to the hype train known as Kaep is a bit unfair. Besides, in a couple of leagues I invested a high pick for a QB like Arod or Brees. Not neccesarily a bad strategy to draft a QB in the earlier rounds.

DirtyBird - Yeah, hard to believe this is the latest anyone might draft. None of my drafts for 5 years (including this year) were before over a month from now. Even that off-line OG vs. NG. I think Kaepy would be fine at 5th or 6th. Small reach. Huge reach...David Akers in the 11th and Eric Decker in the 6th (this move would've been conceivable had they not picked up Wes Welker). Also Jared Cook in the 10th after Vernon Davis in the 7th. Bargains... Stafford in the 9th, D-Wil 15th, hopefully Wallace 8th. Gonna go out on a limb and say MJD in the 2nd, but what was your draft position??? With AP, I gotta think is was #1? In which case MJD at the end of round 2 is great. If this is a 10 teamer, you say? B- to C+ on the draft. B for the team you ended up with.

I forgot about Welker going to the Broncos but it is still Peyton playing QB over there so Decker will still get points. I normally run two or three teams a year and this is the first I do. I have my keeper league which drafts August 4th and I'll do another one sometime between now and start of the season .

Was scratching my head for a bit thinking you meant Chris Johnson, who you drafted in the 3rd. BTW, also a bargain, probably. This could suck in standard scoring only if they actually use Shonn Greene as a TD vulture, ala Brandon Jacobs style, which is questionable. Decker will get points, he could certainly score with me anytime, but I gotta think he has slid to #3 for the team.

Seems a bit early to draft for me. I usually play in 2 leagues every year but we don't draft until the end of August at the EARLIEST. I would hate having to draft this early...
