You're FIRED!!!!!!! WTF are they doing in NE? Kraft has got to be ready to say F it and make a example out of him to show everyone that they still have control of the locker room. I wonder who is next Aqib Talib?

Dont expect the Pats to cut him over this. If convicted this will be his 2nd violation of the nfl rules and therefore he will be subject to a 1-4 game suspension. The thing that could work to his advantage is that his 1st violation was the week before the draft so he wasnt really in the nfl.
Generally DUI convictions do not come with jail time, however this will likely violate Dennard's terms of probation, and will force him to serve the 27 days in jail in March of 2014.
As for a team suspension, that isnt to likely if the nfl wont suspend him.

Would we really be talking about suspending the guy if the Hernandez situation never happened?

Would we really be talking about suspending the guy if the Hernandez situation never happened? We might be talking about suspending him, since it is his 2nd problem, although one of them was before the draft. No chance we would be talking about cutting him though.

I wonder who is next Aqib Talib? haha I thought Talib would have been first. The guys looks like he has a halo on now considering his company. Pats are so screwed now they will suck so bad....well actually they will still win 12 games but at least we can make fun of them now

Watching around the horn....they are saying the Pats should cut denard? Why? Duii's happen on the weekly basis in the league...cut a good starting corner? For an "accused" duii?
I bitch about NE's reputation of being a well run organization all the time, just because I refuse to admit they are better than anyother franchise, just my opinion..but I do not think for one second that denard deserves to be cut.

Dennard doesnt have a huge track record like the media is making it seam. He assaulted an undercover police officer the week before the draft, that technocally is felony assault on a police officer, however it is really more like assault on an average citizen since he had know knowledge that he was a cop. DUI is a big deal to me, however 1 DUI is not worthy of being cut. Dennard is a pretty good starting corner, at 450,000 dollar salary. Thats about as good as value as you can get in the nfl.

Didn't Kraft make comments saying something like this? "Anyone close enough to the crime to be arrested should be cut."
