Sounds like a pretty low risk deal to me. If Bynum stays healthy you get a top 5 center, if not you can choose to let him go next year.

Sorry for my absence the past couple of weeks, everyone (well, in the sense that I have not contributed much). I have been surprisingly busy, and have been balls deep in the NBA offseason (namely Bynum watch now). EagleDomiKnationoffers more to who? Bynum? There is not a chance in hell PHI gets Bynum back. They are set on tanking this year, and have Noel as their new frontcourt centerpiece. the only teams wanting Bynum are CLE, ATL, and DAL, the only teams who need a center that have CAP space. I am praying for Bynum to go to Cleveland. He will change the attitude in Cleveland, not just on the court, but beyond in terms of the team seeing that they are in win mode. I shall be writing an article soon concerning Cleveland once FA settles down more so I can accurately depict what Cleveland has to work with for this year and the next.

But I do think they will attempt to keep him.

But I do think they will attempt to keep him. I gotta say, that threw me for a loop for a second there. I was actually half-convinced it was real for a little while, then my logic kicked in and told me that no one on the outside would be allowed that much inside-information on what went down during the meeting. And yea. There is no way that Andrew Bynum will be rejoining the 76ers. They are tanking for the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes that will be between them and the Celtics.

To me, it isn't even about the fact that we snagged the guy I wanted badly, but it is more about the fact that a big name has decided to COME to Cleveland. Bynum and Jack have been arguably the best FA signings in Cleveland Cavalier history. The Cavs are showing that they are going to be competitive, and just in time for the 2014 offseason that will be stacked on stacks.
Here is now the roster for the Cleveland Cavaliers:
STARTING FIVE:
Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Earl Clark, Tristan Thompson, Andrew Bynum
BACKUP FIVE:
Jarret Jack, Sergey Karasev, Alonzo Gee, Anthony Bennett, Anderson Varejao
OTHERS:
CJ Miles, Carrick Felix, Tyler Zeller
===
And rumor has it that Cleveland is still looking into bringing Kiralinko in as the starting SF. If we get that? JACKPOT.
Playoffs here we come.

C - Andrew Bynum PF - Anderson Varejao SF - Earl Clark SG - Dion Waiters PG - Kyrie Irving 6. Jarrett Jack 7. Tristan Thompson 8. Anthony Bennett 9. Alonzo Gee 10. Sergey Karasev 11. Tyler Zeller 12. C.J. Miles RES - Carrick Felix I just don't think they would take Varejao out of the starting lineup with the year he had last season.. Either way the Cavs have a VERY deep bench, especially if they get Kirilenko. I could see them using lineups with Jack at the 1, Irving at the 2 and Waiters at the 3 since Irving works well off the ball. I also see Bennett getting time at 3 and 4 his rookie season.
