your love fest for johnathan stewart is starting to get annoying. lol sorry but hes not that good. that overall he has right now might be too high gamble and kalil are just about right. they are very good, but i think both are just fine there Want to bet that he'll post the "gamble is the most underrated player" link? EASY MONEY!

I was talking a point or two for Gamble and J-Stew.

I was thinking J-Stew should be an 85 or 86 and Gamble should be 92 or 93.
Kalil should be within two points away from Mangold (who is a 97).

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton - 83 HB BenJarvus Green-Ellis - 82 HB Bernard Scott - 77 FB Chris Pressley - 76 WR A.J. Green - 89 WR Brandon Tate - 73 WR Mohamed Sanu - 71 WR Armon Binns - 68 WR Marvin Jones - 65 TE Jermaine Gresham - 81 TE Donald Lee - 73 TE Orson Charles - 69 LT Andrew Whitworth - 91 LG Travelle Wharton - 85 C Kyle Cook - 82 RG Kevin Zeitler - 75 RT Andre Smith - 81 LE Carlos Dunlap - 85 LE Robert Geathers - 79 RE Michael Johnson - 77 DT Geno Atkins - 93 DT Domata Peko - 84 DT Pat Sims - 77 DT Devon Still - 72 DT Nick Hayden - 67 DT Brandon Thompson - 66 LOLB Manny Lawson - 82 MLB Rey Maualuga - 83 ROLB Thomas Howard - 83 CB Leon Hall - 89 CB Nate Clements - 87 CB Terrence Newman - 82 CB Jason Allen - 78 CB Dre Kirkpatrick - 75 FS Reggie Nelson - 79 FS George Iloka - 65 SS Taylor Mays - 71 K Mike Nugent - 81 P Kevin Huber - 75 and this is why i dont buy the madden games anymore. they completely ruined the game compared to the 08 version. no more franchise mode either. these overalls sucks ass. madden blows now 08 for gamecube, last Madden I have, not counting the 09 Wii fiasco, thought in the fantasy draft it was way to easy to build an elite D (I can always manage to get Reed, Merriman and Urlacher in the 1st 3 rounds). Built the best team in a year.... 1st year of FA some CPU dolts lets go of Orlando Pace, Troy Polamalu and Drew Brees There should be some way to make it not so easy to sign all 3 in one year, espicially if that makes a 90 overall Sean Considine and Big Ben backups

Ugh...I rented the 09 Madden for Wii. That was horrible. The only dislike about the Maddens for Gamecube was that in a simulated season, the RB stats and Running QB stats would be overwhelmingly absurd. I mean you couldn't make the Pro Bowl unless you had at least like 1600 yards rushing with 15 TDs. It was commonplace to see at least 1 RB with over 2000 yards.

Also QBs stats weren't nearly as high, unless Manning was the QB, few teams went over 200 yards passing, but I still play it....

Sorry if this has been addressed already, but I didn't feel like reading through 19 pages worth of posts to find out. I don't know if this is just in offline CC or if it's in every mode, but there's one thing I've noticed about the player ratings that is confusing me.
Before starting a career, I went to My Madden and took a look at the individual player ratings for the Panthers. These were the overall ratings for these players:
Newton - 89 DeAngelo Williams - 84 Gross - 93 Kalil - 93 Tolbert - 89
Then I start an offline CC as Ron Rivera. First task on the list is Cut Day. So I go to start cutting down the roster and I notice that the overall ratings for those guys have dropped from how they were rated from the main menu rosters. Their ratings in offline CC were now:
Newton - 87 D Williams - 71!? Gross - 89 Kalil - 82!? Tolbert - 83
There were a couple of other players that dropped as well, but there were also players who were actually rated higher than they were from the main menu rosters. The 2 I noticed the most were:
Stewart - 84 to 89 Josh Vaughn - 64 to 73
The problem with this is Vaughn, the 3rd string RB, was rated 2 points higher than DeAngelo Williams... which automatically put Vaughn above Williams on the depth chart before I did anything to it. I went through the preseason thinking that the ratings would return back to where they were before I started the career, but week 1 of the regular season, they were still the same. Then, to add even more confusion, I started the week 1 game against Tampa Bay, paused it and went to the in-game depth chart, and the ratings were back to where they were set in the My Madden depth chart. Williams was 84 OVR, Kalil was 93, etc., etc.
The only thing I can imagine that would affect the ratings like this are the new "grade" categories for each player... Physical, Intangibles, Durability, Size, and Production Grades... b/c Vaughn was graded higher than Williams in every category except for Production, where Williams has an 83 grade and Vaughn's grade was 0. That's when I noticed the My Madden depth chart and the in-game depth chart didn't have these grades listed in the players' rating categories, but the CC main menu depth chart did... which is the only depth chart where the OVR ratings were affected.
So the thing I want to know is... how important are these "grade" categories when it comes to how good a player is, mainly when it comes to drafting players and adjusting the depth chart from the CC main hub?

The ratings you see first are the actual Madden ratings that EA releases. When you do a CCM, and you pick a team, all of the overalls from every team is in relation to how they are in your TEAM'S scheme.
From what I can tell, maybe the RB2 scheme is Power back, which is why DWill is so low... I will actually do a Panthers one now just to test it out, hold on...
