Fun while it lasted. I was so hoping to see just how great he could make that team. I saw them 13-3, losing @sf, @atl, and maybe @hou or even IND. Nah. I feel so bad for him though. He has all the damn talent and gifts in the world, and he just can't catch any kinda break. I have questions about what happens in our keeper drafts. Like if you keep him as your 5th rounder, you have to wait til after the draft for whatever's left off the WW or FA after you stick him back in the IR slot? It just usually works the opposite, they get hurt mid season, and you expect they start next year healthy. IDK if I can even justify keeping Wilson now as a 5th rounder. Ugh. Maybe I'll paste this at my PB or the Graveyard. Bev....you ripped me off. Harvin does me no good now. Im mad. LOL

I just handed him Torrey Smith for free, a 15th round tag before they even got rid of Anquan Boldin. I could no longer keep Torrey, and hadn't got any offers (well, crap, I sure could now). In exchange I get Russell Wilson, a 5th round pick, who was VERY borderline keepable, but I figured with Percy Harvin, I surely would. Sadly, QBs are top-heavy in that league, but may keep Gonzo instead. They're gonna stick stick with the great run game. So now ADB is pawning Torrey off for a mid round draft pick, which could still be a bargain. But thanks for Jordy Nelson in the 13th (??). hehe Hey, you could still keep Harvin for next year, and he could be back Nov with fresh legs. He's worth the IR spot IMO.

Dive, you know dam good and well that is not how that trade happened...... You asked me for Peyton or Wilson and I said that I was keeping Peyton but you can have Wilson for Torey......... So I will say "screwed" is a little harsh........... I never intended to keep either one.......

So I will say "screwed" is a little harsh........... I never intended to keep either one....... Didn't mean it that way at all. I screwed myself. Very good on you. This was my very first year with keepers that could no longer be kept. I felt Wilson was a 'decent' keeper for a 5th rounder, but with Harvin out of the mix, I feel he is much less so - certainly not your fault. The fact I knew you were getting a better deal is also not your fault. But his value got a lot better with Boldin gone, also not your fault. Hey I capitalized in my early deal with @jeffb2865 - it's just a partial learning curve, partial luck.

Even though Harvin is going to miss alot of time I still think Seattle will be a pretty damn good team this year.
I might lower Wilson's stats a little from what I predicted but this will still be a team to be reckoned with.

I'm now rooting for Sidney Rice to get back to form.

I wouldn't worry about Wilsons numbers. At the very least, he should look like he did over the last 9 games of the season a year ago. From what I have heard from training camp, Luke Willson can run the seem route as good as anyone. Tate and Baldwin have been lighting it up as well. It helps when they get to practice against the best secondary in the league.

It helps when they get to practice against the best secondary in the league. Can't believe that never even occurred to me, practicing against your own defense. Excellent point. Didn't I hear Sherman didn't allow a single catch in OTAs? lol Anyway, keeping Wilson seems a little more encouraging now.
