A 2-year deal for him is very much. As a 3-4 OLB he should be just a stop gap. You better root that they use him only on third downs, as the impact he creates in the run game is null.

That's fine because our starting OLB, Jarret Johnson, is one the best run-stoppers in the league. IF I had a choice between picking a starter between Freeney and our resident draft, Larry screws-in-his-foot, I wouldn't hesitate in picking Freeney.

Yay I hope he does well. You crack me up. You really don't like Larry what-has-he-done? LOL

Is Larry English bad because he's injury prone, or bad as in his play?

I just read an article on Larry. Jarrid Johnson really likes him. He's real good in practice they say. His injuries hurt him and then he was way down the depth chart last year. He might be a big surprise this year.

Even though stayed healthy last year, he didn't do squat. If we were really comfortable with Larry what's-his-face, we wouldn't have drafted Ingram last year or bring in Dwight Freeney today.

Browns bolster their defense with the top CB in the draft and then pick up Manziel(unsure about him)

A really nice pickup. Freeney is quality all the way! Congrats!

Horrible pickup. He cannot play OLB, in a 3-4.

Coach McCoy says the defense will adapt with some packages for Freeney. At first I didn't like the idea of changing our D for just one guy. But after listening to a few "Experts" I kind of like the idea. McCoy does know how to adjust stuff to his players. So look for the Chargers to play more 4-3 than before. Most teams actually play both somewhat.
