I just think it's hilarious everyone expects Michigan to have another 8 win season and be back in the cap one bowl. Nebraska finishing above Michigan is absolutely laughable, and I would bet my avatar for a year that Michigan has a better record than Nebraska. Don't know what next season holds for the Maize and Blue, but I can do without seeing Nebraska ever win another game. EVER. I hate the frickin' Bugeaters...

It's not like they are rivals with Clemson or anything.

It's not like they are rivals with Clemson or anything. Let's just say it's deep-rooted. There's a lot of nonsense they spout about their perceived "greatness" through the years. "We've won (X amount of) games for 50 years in a row! Maybe there's a reason? Maybe you're too much of a FRAUD to actually go ON THE ROAD for those out of conference games (when finally scheduling a good team). They were in a conference (Big 8) where there really was only one or two games a year in which they were tested. Usually against Oklahoma and later Colorado. The rest of the conference really was average at best (if even that) year in and year out. They're basically full of hypocrisy and full of themselves. They think everyone else should bow down to them and feel blessed to even be in their presence. For Example: YEARS ago, the Bugeaters "offered" to play Clemson in a game...Clemson said "OK, but if we play you THERE, we'll ask you to reciprocate and play us in DEATH VALLEY the next year." Bugeaters said...no, no...we just want you to play HERE. They normally didn't go on the road for those types of games and would usually ONLY schedule patsies to build up their win total. Yeah, I could schedule sorry-ass out of conference teams every year and beat up on 'em too. It's nothing to thump your chest about. I would like to see a game there someday, because I'm a football fan and that's a great home-field to see a game in (I guess). OK, so I may have gone a little overboard there...

last year was the closest I've ever been in following college football, I've been following the scoreboards and watched about only 4 non-bowl games, I watched some bowl games looking to follow it closer and to have a favorite team (no Alabama, not you) Texas A&M and Alabama is indeed a possibility for the BCS i think you should root for stanford because thats where andrew luck is from. not to mention 3 other players from there. even though i like cincinnati and ohio state, i also like georgia because the bengals got 7 players from there right now (geno atkins, clint boling, orson charles, robert geathers, a.j green, dennis roland, and shawn williams) because we seem to love drafting players from there. so you could always go the route of "what your nfl team loves to draft" instead, which stanford would make sense. lsu, connecticut, and boston college also have 4 other players on the colts, but (besides lsu) those teams arent even close to being good as stanford

That sounds a LOT like SEC teams. You never see them come up north.

Or out West. The last one I can remember was Georgia - when Moreno was still there - went to play Arizona St. I don't count Texas A&M in that mix since they just started in the SEC.

I expect Duke to play in a better bowl game this year because we have an easier ACC schedule than last year.
I expect Notre Dame to at least go to a BCS bowl and hopefully the NC game again. We are a top program right now and need to take advantage of that.
Anything less for either team would be a failure in my eyes.
