Ronde Barber has announced today that he is retiring. He is one of my favorite players ever, and i look forward to someday seeing him get into the Hall of Fame.

Ronde had a great career, and he surpassed his twin by many years. To be honest, I've expected this since Tiki retired, but Ronde was a soldier, he kept on going, and truth is he can still keep going on. That's why he'll always be on of the all time great Buccs, because his time in Tampa was timeless, sure he lost a few steps on his younger self, but still was better than most DB's starting in the league who were 10+ years younger than him.

Man I thought he would do one more year as a 3rd down DB oh well I guess the man has done enough. And the bucs secondary is awesome right now so they will be fine. Kudos to ronde enjoy your retirement.

You gotta love Ronde even being a fan of another team. My best wishes to him

Even though I never liked him (because the Saints had to play him twice a year) I've always respected him. Wish him the best with whatever he decides to do next
