This isn't fantasy football Ace. Beast can make the story go as he pleases, and that's a pretty tough task in itself, he's probably already mutherfucking himself for starting this game because of the headache. Is it really that bigadeal? I pm'd him too, and asked him why I wasn't getting what I thought I should get as well, at the very same time you were asking for your knife. Your getting butthurt when I thought we all agreed that we weren't going to get butt hurt about this prototype game. A game that really has nothing to do with football and should be taken very lightly. In my very insignificant opinion I say You owe Beast an apology buddy, and for someone who is thought so highly of around here, I am very disappointed in your actions on this game. Sorry for bustin your balls man. You are right, Beast can do whatever he wants with his game because it is his game so no one else can say anything bad about it even if he is working really hard. Working really hard obviously means everyone else has to be grateful and shut up and stop being so butt hurt about it. Beast, I'm so sorry you didn't answer my question. It's all my fault.

DAY 2 RESULTSDarrelle Revis, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Knile Davis and Julio Jones have been incognito for a while now. They probably either moved this turn or their move was unsuccessfull. Their locations are currently unknown.
As the day time commenced, the Beast's roar grew louder, and then everything went completely silent, until an announcement was made that 2 vials of medicine and a steel meat cleaver were dropped at the cornucopia. Goodluck tonight. So essentially, I can move to whatever spot I want cuz even you don't know where I am? h24dog Results of #2 are on page 41 nflfanforums.proboards.com/thread/2341/page/44/hunger-games-nite-starting-tonight?page=41This is the 1st time the copia was replenished with meds and a hatchet, so I guess there will be new options for move #3? Kinda like day 1, grab something and run? Ace, I really don't even understand what you even mean by 'gimme the knife' stuff. Although this is just an experiment or trial run, I think you do have a valid point. The more questions that come up, provided they are answered of course, the better position we are in to develop a strategy. Cuz it is far less fun to know that every action will be met with a totally random outcome. If done the right way, this could be an excellent game, but fairly complicated to create. Seems like this (just like the OGs vs. NGs) might be something that could really take off. Edit: Okay, I know where I am now, thanks much, beast. Ok so Jstew died at the hands of RG3 and Marshall. RG3 was right beside Jstew when he died and I assume Marshall was fairly close. We all knew Jstew had a knife so when he died I assumed Marshall or I would be able to take it. You wouldn't just leave a potential upgrade sitting there when it's possible to take it. So I waited and waited for an answer that never came and I assumed there would be some sort of option like Jancey suggested where we would either run away or fight for the knife. Guess it was wrong of me to assume that Marshall OR RG3 would get the knife from a dead jstew body. The only explanaition I got for the knife was NO ONE was going to get it... and I only got it AFTER another day in the game has passed and probably 7 posts on this thread asking about it while Beast posted several other times during that time period. Am I being butt hurt about the knife or how beast handled the situation? You've known me long enough, you tell me. and somebody said it was a test trial? Are test trials perfect? Is it wrong of me to critisize it? You don't think it would be nice to know a specific time when you have to get your moves in? You like waiting for Beast to be online and him saying go whenever he wants or having your move in on say by 7PM ET every other night?

Criticism is totally appreciated, this game is really just brand new and all and there are going to be all these little quirks we have to sort out. Sean just pmed me some great ideas and it was his idea to put the traps into the game for this night. I've gotten a lot of good ideas from a lot of people. I don't know if we will finish the trial version. How many people are still alive? 13,14? The map is 20 by 20 or 400 squares. The probability of two people being in the same square is relatively low, even with the 17 people we originally started off with. I am saying that the trial run might be cut short once all the quirks and things are fixed. Besides Ace, this game is just for fun, and means nothing, exactly what Eagle said earlier.

So do you think the hunger/food is going down too slow, or too fast?
These are things I want to balance out before we start the official game, where we will have 2-3 hosts to split it up and make it run more efficient.

I get your point about the map size and squares. We could chase each other around for ever. I'll try and think of an idea for that, but right now I have none. This game has lots of potential. *Calvin, I'm still after you*
Oh and Calvin you posted a while ago about in the movie there was stuff at the copia. I remember now. They had it all in a pile.

Well right now we have a beast running around named Cordarelle Patterson, but ideally we need more than one. Perhaps once a player dies, they have the option of becoming a beast if they want to.

Eesh. No. Not so many beasts...
My suggestion would be this: You, the host of the game, can start a random fire at a random spot or something, can throw things at the copia that will make people want to go there, so a few will probably die. Throw in random dogs, like they also did in the movie (you know the dogs I'm talking about). Throw them either at the copia or a random spot..and they move after the person closest to them, because they can smell them. And they can move faster and farther than the humans can. And if they get to a player, ya know, and it'll be a fight just like any other. And you can determine how that fight will be done. But you would have to control each and every dog. So to keep it simple just throw in 1..or 2 at a time. Until they either die of starvation, killed by another dog (if there's another one in there starving and they get closer to each other than a human), killed by the beast...or one of us humans kill it...something of that sort. I'd say throw like 1 in now...and leave him for a day or 2 and then throw a 2nd one in...but then another can't come in until 1 dies.

The map size is fine but the current issue I would say is the lack of random events (like the monkey flinging poo or perhaps you could offer berries as a food source but they might be poisonous?) and the little diversity in terms of the landscape. Nature needs to play a bigger role in the game in the form of storms or maybe more non PC forces like the Wild Beast. Keep the player on his/her toes and don't let them get too comfortable with a one way path to the victory.

Lets start the registration going for the official new game starting from today to next saturday, and we will start on next saturday. Innocent has told me he understands it fully now and will be ready to go. I am going to make a suggestion thread for anyone to throw in suggestions from today until Wednesday, with the rules being finalized on THU/FRI.

I feel that the map is a bit too plain as of right now, and I never even described the advantages of being in one of the caves. I'm going to open up a discussion thread where we can discuss all of this.
