Im going to give them a D because I wasnt impressed with their 1st round pick, and they traded up to get a guy im not really impressed with either. They also got a steal in the 3rd round, but after that there was nothing special. I think Fluker has along way to go to become a starting tackle in the nfl.
Fluker may not have had the fanfare of the top 3 LTs but he was the best RT in the draft this year. He may not be the best pass-protector in the draft but he only allowed 5.5 QB sacks last year. Traditionally, the RT isn't really supposed to pass-protect. He's the team's best run-blocker and Fluker was one of the best run-blockers of the draft. Saban won two championships with Fluker playing RT. I wasn't pleased that we took him but he is a good player who is definitely capable of playing RT in the NFL. I wasn't a fan of the Te'o trade up, but take away the championship game and the "girlfriend" drama, he was the best defensive player in college football. He can hold up against good competition and he has good instincts for the position. Fluker, Te'o and Allen are all players who are capable of starting in the NFL.
