I like what the Chargers did with this draft.. I question Fluker a little bit but he was by far the Chargers biggest need so they had to take him IMO. I don't like that they only grabbed 1 O-lineman though.. I'd say B..

I look at our draft class and in the end, I had to give them a C (actually a C-). I wasn't a fan of the Fluker pick because I thought it was something of a reach at #11, but Fluker himself is an upgrade over our current RT Jeromey Clary, who was the weakest link of the Chargers OL for years, until the OL itself became awful. I wasn't a fan of trading up for Te'o because I thought it would be prudent to keep and use all of our draft picks, but Te'o is an instinctive ILB who can properly compliment Donald Butler, a rising star at ILB. We didn't "need" a WR, but I get that Allen's value was too good to pass up and he could become the #1 go-to option that Rivers is looking for. Williams and Williams seem like contributing players. In the end, I still see no LT and that bums me out; the fact that we could have addressed the OL more is what I walk away with. I voted C.

I agree about the WR. Give Rivers time and its a whole different offense. Going to be interesting with Fluker and Te'o. We shall see. Plus if we can actually run to the right I will be happy. Did ya know Telesco and McCoy tried to talk LT into playing this year? The article is on their web site. We have the RB's I think but it all boils down to the trenches.

this is a classic case of a feast or famine type of draft right here
fluker is viewed as a bust by most people, but he reminds me of our RT andre smith. he just has to control his weight and then hes a beast. im surprised he slipped out of the top 10. keenan allen was a great pick as well. local player and needs to start right away
te'o is one of those players im on the fench right now with. i think hes gonna be good, but this is a bit of a reach. im honestly not sure how this will work
alot of questionable players with red flags, so this is a tough call
final grade: C

I voted an A. I love this class, I think only Baltimore did better overall. Fluker, Te'o, and Allen are all three players who scouts were way down on for no good reason (except Allen actually, but in the third round he's a no brainer). San Diego deserves an A unquestionably, even if Fluker was a bit of a reach.

Fluker isnt one of my favorite picks. I projected him as a guard in the nfl, and imo he isnt a 1st round guard or tackle. I think he is dominate in the run game, but not to good in the pass game. I have a tough time seeing the Chargers as a heavy run team with their current group of running backs. I am not a Teo fan, I see him as a 2 down lb so I guess they got decent value in the 2nd round, simular to what the pats have got out of Brandon Spikes. The injurys, Character, and 4.71 40 is the reason Allen fell to the 3rd. I had him as a 2nd round prospect, simular to Anquan Boldin, more of a red zone threat then a down the field receiver. Good value in the 3rd round though.
Im going to give them a D because I wasnt impressed with their 1st round pick, and they traded up to get a guy im not really impressed with either. They also got a steal in the 3rd round, but after that there was nothing special. I think Fluker has along way to go to become a starting tackle in the nfl.
