I loved the Vaccaro, Armstead and Stills picks. I can't believe Stills dropped all the way to the 5th. I don't know anything about Jenkins or Johnson I love the Stills pick. He has a knack for creating separation. Tremendous route runner and he has great hands as well. Btw, you're an Oklahoma fan, aren't you? What happened to Jaz Reynolds? I always thought he was a great WR but I didn't hear his name at all last year.

i see alot of steals all over the board for this team
i of course am extremly mad that you guys got vaccaro because thats who i wanted in the 1st round, so that by far was a great pick. the terron armstrong pick was the best one by far though. they needed another OT and for a guy that i though would go early in the 2nd round the saints got him in th middle of the 3rd
the john jenkins pick is a big risk. they needed help on the DL, but jenkins isnt gonna be an all down player unless he gets his weight undercontrol
it was very close to being one of the best drafts. if they had more picks, it would of been better
final grade: B

At first I didn't get the Vaccaro pick at all. But the good pass rushers were off the board, so going with a safety made sense.
I liked the Armstead pick, Bushrod's sucessor
Jenkins pick made sense, they're switching to a 3-4 and they needed someone to man the position, Jenkins will do it
Stills, I hope he end up replacing Henderson. Then I'll like the pick. Good value
Grade A

I give this an A, but there should have been more picks total. UDFAs are an important factor for them. I predict the Saints to win the division this year.

I think you have to look at what we did with what we have.

I think you have to look at what we did with what we have. a lack of picks has everything to do with actually. first off, you could of had more picks if it were not for the saints getting themselves caught with the bounty scandal, so thats there own fault for losing a 2nd round which could of been used on something good, so that is a big difference IMO that hurts them from not gettting an A i know it seems stupid to make a big deal out of the scandal that has nothing to do with the draft strategy, but in the end, losing that 2nd round pick alone should make that grade than no higher than a B for now

Yes, we could have used that second round pick to good use had we not gotten caught. That's in the past now though, so I think you have to focus on what we did with what we had.

1.15: Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas 3.13: Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas Pine-bluff 3.20: John Jenkins, NT, Georgia 5.11: Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma 6.14: Rufus Johnson, DE, Tarleton Overall grade: Bump. This is already looking like a great draft. Vaccaro, Jenkins, and Stills are balling out already. Armstead and Johnson still TBD.
