I believe the guy who almost died was D.J. Hayden. Could be wrong though. Correct. One of his teammates accidentally knee'd him in his sternum. craig440, Star had a heart issue a couple of weeks ago, but the doctors said it was most likely virus related and nothing permanent. He's been cleared by the doctor's, so he's fine now.

They traded up for Frank Alexander and traded for Louis Murphy. Lost their 3rd and 7th.

Not for Cam. We had the 1st overall pick in 2011. Last year during the draft, we traded our 2013 third round pick to the 49ers in exchange for their 2012 4th round pick to draft Frank Alexander. After the draft, we traded our 2013 7th round pick to the Raiders in exchange for Louis Murphy. We didn't get any comp picks because we didn't unwillingly lose any high profile players to free agency. Nice catch on the Valdosta State thing haha. I didn't even realize that. EDIT: Damn, Panther beat me to it by a minute

Thanks guys. No idea who Frank Alexander is, but bet he is special. Apparently his contract couldn't have worth a ton. But just cuz I never heard of him doesn't mean much.

I gave it a B. Star and Short are GREAT picks, and they will both anchor your interior DL for years. AJ Klein is a solid football player who will add competition to your LB corps. Lastly, I really like the Barner pick. He adds a Darren Sproles-esque dynamic to the offense.
I can't comment on the OG from Valdosta

Alexander is a 4th round guy who sat behind Hardy and Johnson last year. He got playing time and I thin he looks good. Definitely won't be all-pro but solid backup. But we shouldn't have traded up. We traded up in front of ourselves and pick Frank Alexander and Joe Adams back-to-back. Alexander was a good pick, but Adams has been horrible.

the draft was better than people realise
first off they drafted THE STAR. arguably maybe the best player in this draft and he falls all the way to them at 14? i would be pretty stoked about this, because that makes up for the lack of picks on this team. they also drafted kawaan short in the 2nd round, so now this whole DT situation should finaly be fixed
dont even know who the hell this edmund guy is though. horrible pick IMO
alot of people want to give it a bad grade, but i think its better than people realise
final grade: B

I LOVE the first pick. I am stoked about it.
The second pick, we have HUGE holes right now, that we really need to fill our needs. Maybe we can suffice at WR and CB, but S and OL? Hell no.
I don't know if it's fair to call it a horrible pick, but expectations are low.
