coltsrockjcr you will like this From NFL.com Every year, Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert tells reporters that they are looking for every position in the draft except quarterback. That's no longer the case. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Steelers are very much open to adding a quarterback. They even reportedly have one in mind -- Tennessee's Tyler Bray. "A lot of NFL teams, the Steelers included, think Bray is the most-talented quarterback in the draft," Gerry Dulac writes. It is unlikely the Steelers wind up with Bray, if only because some team could take a risk on him in the second or third rounds. Bray has a ton of off-field questions, but his "arm talent" is as good as anyone in the draft. It's hard to imagine the Steelers investing a second-day pick early on a quarterback that projects as a long-term backup to Ben Roethlisberger. It's easier to imagine the Steelers grabbing another Miami of Ohio product in Zac Dysert. The Steelers have Bruce Gradkowski on the roster as their backup quarterback, but it sounds like they want to groom a younger option. If the Steelers don't draft a quarterback this year, they will get much older instead. Dulac writes that Charlie Batch will likely re-join the team if the Steelers don't draft anyone.

Not too crazy about using a 3rd round pick on a back up QB. Bray has potential but he has a questionable character and had a crazy amount of talented WRs.
I can how ever get behind drafting QB Ryan Griffin, Tulane, 6'4 221 lbs. More of the Tom Brady breed, un-athletic, smart, decent arm but mostly accurate, and more of a pocket passer.

If we can pick up Tyler Bray in the 4th Round, I would be ecstatic about that. Any earlier, and it would be considered a reach for me.

Bray is a first round talent with a 7th round head and work ethic. If you can screw on his head straight you'll end up with a steal.

I might be a little worried about that sitting behind a QB like Ben. Don't get me wrong, Ben is good and I like him as a QB, but he isn't all that smart sometimes when it comes to the media (and I'm not talking about the rape allegations). Bray would also have some time to sit so that could help him out a little by not putting pressure on him to perform early, maybe only coming in for emergencies when Ben gets hurt.

Tomlin should straighten him out, and if he does this while ending the off field issues (that means no more throwing beer bottles at cars Tyler!), expect loads of trade offers because Big Ben aint leaving any time soon

Jeez they may have to keep Batch around to keep Bray's head straight after all. We will never be rid of that guy. Chaz Batch 4 life!!

3rd round wouldn't be bad imo The thing is there is a lot of talent in the first 3 rounds that can be used on areas of great need. They may not be so willing to spend a 3rd round pick on another meathead that may only be a back up/trade bait. I'd be pretty happy with Roethlisberger, Gradkowski, Ryan Griffin in the 6th round
