IMO these aren't bad.. I thought the first two sets of starters where amazing.. I though Hoenn sucked.. Sinnoh was decent and I think the Unova starters are terrible.. I think these might be better... gotta wait and see what these guys evolved forms are to really make a judgement! But I am pumped for the 3DS game! Also steeldevil you should try Fire red or Leaf Green on your GBA they are basically remakes of the original Red/Blue with better graphics and some extra stuff added! At least if you still play pokemon! I've played them. They are great. Last game I played was Diamond. It was good. Its too out of hand now. Plus my DS is lost or broken somewhere. If they would have kept it at 300 or whatever it was after the 2nd generation, and kept making different kind of games with those it would have been better imo. |

one of my old teachers some years ago had a program called VBA on his computer (I think it standed for Visual Boy Advance), and you could play all the pokemon games on your CPU

one of my old teachers some years ago had a program called VBA on his computer (I think it standed for Visual Boy Advance), and you could play all the pokemon games on your CPU You could do that yourself by using an emulator to play a ROM file of the game on your computer. I was able to play an SNES game on my computer using a PS3 controller. Pretty sweet if you ask me... |

FINALLY They have announced a new Eevee evloultion for the first time since Glaceon and Leafeon were announced in the Diamond/Pearl games. The new evolution will be called Sylveon in English.  |

I have been eagerly awaiting the evolutions! I think they could be pretty awesome if they go in the right way with the pokemon! I was really disappointed with the starters in Ruby/Saphire, and Black/white.. I just thought they were lame.. the first evolutions were cute like they should be, but then they got kind of shitty as they evolved IMO.. Hopefully they pick it up with this game! |

Yea, I am waiting for the evolutions too. I hope they make the frog evolution like a Water/Poison type, since Poisons are otherwise absolutely useless in the actual story. They are only strong against Grass and most grass types have a secondary type that cancels out Poison's supereffectiveness. |
