How is Kansas LB Steven Johnson doing? He is a natural leader and I was REALLY hoping the Chiefs would pick him up. I think you guys might have found a steal...

Wooo!! Just looked at Box Score from SF vs CHI game, and Steven had 7 tackles, 1 TFL.
EDIT: He led the team in tackles in 2 out of the 3 Pre Season games, and in the other game in limited action had a Sack!

I'll be here too, haha, and don't worry, I get excited but i'm not going to talk trash just to talk trash. Most of everything I will say will be constructive about the game, or just plain cheering the Raiders, I wont run the broncos through the mud.
If you want you should check out the Cbox at the bottom, its near-live chat, you just have to click the refresh tab on the Cbox control deck. We have good conversations there, if not i'll be sure to make a thread.

Several fans of rival teams seem to be writing the Broncos off. It's way too early for that. They still have more potential than all of their divisional rivals. If Manning gets through the season I still think the Broncos will be comfortable winners.

I wish we could write them off, but we can't. Still think it's going to be a really close division though, I dont see Denver running away with it.

I've been in and out for a while and just saw this section of the forums. Mitch, Johnson looked really good in the preseason. With a lot of grooming I think he become a starter at some point in his career. As for Manning, so far he's been the best FA pickup the Broncos might have ever made. We are 3-3, yes, I know that. But our only 3 losses have come to the Falcons (6-0), Texans(6-1 I think), and the Patriots (last year AFC Champions and 4-3). Tough 3 games. The thing is, is that we lost by 10 POINTS OR LESS in those 3 games. 3 of the best teams beat us by 10 or less pints. Other than them we have beat the Raiders, Chargers, and Steelers. SD had a winning record before we beat them. I know the Raiders are sucking atm, but we creamed them 37-6. That was the score before the 4th Quarter when we started running it constantly. Overall, I have seen a lot of determination by the Broncos and I expect them to win a lot of our last 10 games. Hopefully we beat the 'Aints tomorrow night (a game of which I will be at ). Go Broncos! |
