Right on, that's 4. When should we start working on getting this going? And can people join after we start?

At the end of the season in CCM, you have to retire your player first and then you can choose any coach or player you want to control. I'm still not sure if retiring your current player/coach will actually remove them from the CCM completely. I would hope not because it would be really easy for someone to retire a teams best players to make that team weaker.

That's good to hear, shouldn't take us more than 2 weeks a season (lol more or less...). So anyone waiting wouldn't be waiting long. I do like the way they rearranged the offseason stuff, makes it easier to get to, and more interesting.

Sleep is overrated!!! Lol Nah, it'd be a bit longer, why I said the give or take, cause it depends on schedules and how busy our weekends are ect.

Just noticed this. The other day I was messing around with the settings in the game and saw a "coach mode" - which I love. I have yet to try this, but I'm going to in the next few days. The NCAA 13 game has it, and I've used it there and loved it.
I like the idea of calling the plays and seeing the team I built/chose - whatever - execute. Kinda makes it a little more even I think, because if you always KILL the computer opponent, well...that just gets old.
Also reminds me of an old game called "Football Challenge" from XOR (computer gaming company - now defunct I believe). In that game there were very little graphics, only X's and O's on a field, and you called the plays (basically just coached each team) from the computer's keyboard. My buddies and I set up an entire league, created a schedule (8 games per team), and picked our teams by draft. The league that was on the game was from the 1984 season (49ers second SB win - Miami and Dan Marino were the opponents). It was pretty cool. There were six of us that did this, we each picked four teams and went at it (this was when only 28 teams were in the NFL and the remaining 4 teams we left as computer controlled teams). I ended up with Dallas, L.A. Rams, L.A. Raiders, and Cleveland. We still talk about that frickin' game and how great it was. Later we figured out how to edit the thing and drafted our own teams from the players in the game. Pretty cool for back then.
Sorry...went WAY off topic there. Anyway, I think we should consider the "coaching" aspect of the game if we go ahead with running a league. It's frustrating at times because the players don't ALWAYS do what you'd want them to, but that's how real players are sometimes. With the drafting, GM and coaching it might even things out or at the very least provide some interesting challenges for us all.
EDIT: It was actually called "NFL Challenge", but the rest is accurate.

This is an UPDATED version of the game, after player names were put into the game.
The earlier version only included jersey #'s. We were smart enough to figure out who all the players were though (with some help from reference books of course!)
