dan-the yankees are pretty talented. problem is they have ALOT of injuries right now. ALOT. and that happens when all of your players are over 35. too many age players are gonna hurt them. i still think they are a better team than the redsoxs, but my gut says they finish last this year
beast-lol. i couldnt resist. i might regret it by putting more fuel on the fire, but i think its gonna be too tough for the cardinals to get back in the playoffs this year
mitch-royals are my surprise pick. alot of people think they will finish at least 2nd in there division, but no playoffs. always one team seems to surprise, and i think its time for kansas city to end the playoff drought

NL West looks pretty close by this prediction. Only 13 games out. Last year I think we were twenty out with 142 left. haha. With a little luck maybe the Pads can get in the hunt.

unlikely the padres get in the hunt. realistically they could finish 3rd place above the diamondbacks. but the giants and dodgers are just too much for them right now. it will be another couple of years before the padres become a contender

I have a bold prediction about the season.
The White Sox make it into the playoffs (not saying they'll win the division,Detroit has that close to locked up, but don't be shocked if the White Sox get in

I might sound OPTIMISTIC, which I'm not actually...but I'd be very shocked if the Rox dropped more than 100 this year. The pitching will be an issue all season and though they DO have some help coming back from injuries and that big "P" word (potential) in some of the others, it should lose them more than it wins. The offense that they have should give them a shot at winning a good amount of home games.
Make mine 70-75 wins for them...still not very good, but not quite as poor as last year.
