And I hate it when people say "well it's their decision if they want to have the child aborted. You are invading their freedom" ~ you are killing what will come to be a child. If you don't want a child, don't get pregnant. Don't kill the baby for your own bad decisions.

I agree with what Jindred is saying. If you're not ready to mother a child, don't get pregnant. If these women are gonna get in bed with a man or whatever, then that was THEIR decision to do so and they should NOT be punishing the child that results from what they did for it.. so what if they get knocked up and regret it later, they shouldn't be obliged to carry it for 9 months just to put it into adoption, being pregnant isn't easy, especially if you regret having the child

When someone kills a pregnant woman, they are charged with 2 murders (except I think California and one other state). But women can freely abort children but it's not considered murder. Will someone explain this to me?

It would be... but I'm not settling the new planet, I learned from Avatar and history, don't be the sucker stuck in a foreign place by yourself Oh come on...you would go down in history! The whole idea of space travel makes me wanna shave my head bald like Patrick Stewart and have the Captain's chair.

My solution to this abortion fiasco.
For all the women that want abortion, please donate your fetus to the stem cell research. It might cure cancer! But seriously, that seems logical, why don't people do it? If you are going to have an abortion why not try to make it an useful one that might benefit everybody?

That was the decision they made when they did it. People do things they regret all the time, but they have to be held responsible for it. Like if someone went off and killed someone and were sentenced to jail for 15 years..they might regret they did it. So they regret it, they're sorry they did it so we should just let them free right? Living in prison for 15 years is hard...

No we don't let those people out of prison. They are held responsible. If the woman got pregnant she should be held responsible (as jindred said the man who did it to her is just as much at fault). 9 months of pregnancy and child birth is just a "consequence" you can call it for her bad decision.

Is it legal if I make myself a bacon and egg sandwich? I hope that pig didn't go down unwillingly

It probably sounds extremely lame but it would be nice to have a female's point of view on abortion in this discussion, especially regarding whether a raped woman should be forced to go through the pregnancy or not. I couldn't imagine the feeling of having some organism that is the spawn of my rapist growing inside of my stomach for 9 months.
