Before you ask, dont compare this to the NBA, NHL, and NCAA threads. it needs a different name. last year i only made an NL Central Division. But i figure it would save more time to just make an entire thread for all the teams
Its what i like to call a "no holds barred" because im not gonna hold anything back on my team, or your team for that matter. Now that doesn't mean its a trash talking thread, but you better be ready for the arguements to fly in this thread
I hope we can get some people posting alot on here this year. Im looking forward to so good ole fashion baseball talks and arguements with you guys. So bring it
GO REDS. 2013 NL Central Champs and More........

KJ you are making me laugh. Yes they wear camouflage on Sunday home games. They give the service people free tickets. And the Marines, Navy, Army, Etc all come and sit in their own section. In uniform. They stand up sometimes (A whole section) and chant or sing their song. It IS AWESOME! Better than the game. Then the Chicken falls down the stairs and almost goes over the rail.
I think Boggs is second string now.

Think the Amazins are destined for 3rd place at best...got rid of their best pitcher, got a young promising catcher who is injury prone. And still no decent left handed bats.
Go Mega Mets!!!

Here's hoping that the Pirates finally end their 20-year losing streak. Though I shouldn't get my hopes up too high...
If they do, Andrew McCutchen is going to be the MVP.

Hey bengal. Trivia for ya. Your way to young to remember this. I use to go to the ball game with my step dad. Well we went twice. To Lane Field in San Diego. The padres were a triple a team. We were the farm team for the Reds. I may not have all my facts right but I'm close. Padres included. Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Morgan, Oh man I''m drawing a blank. There were more. All the Padres moved up to the big league and became the Big Red Machine. I saw them and had no idea what I was seeing.

Go Cubs Honestly, this season should be better than last. Rizzo was amazing down the stretch and Castro is a stud. If Brett Jackson can gain a little patience, at the plate, our offense should run. Ardoys Vizcaino is a stud and we should see Jorge Soler in the majors, at some point, this year. This is not our year, but there will be signs of growth.

Any room for a casual Yankees fan here? Well, too late, I'm here.
I know the Spring Training is not necessarily something that constitutes a preview of the regular season and adjustments can be done through time, but boy...I didn't like what I saw and future does not look bright for the Bronx Bombers.
Picture this: Derek Jeter, Curtis Granderson and Mark Teixeira apparently not fully recovered, Mo playing his last season, no more Russell Martin or Nick Swisher in the lineup and the list goes on.
And let's not forget two consecutive bitter losses to the same Tigers in our two last trips to the playoffs.
Frankly, no high expectations on my side. I guess I just have to wait and see what the future holds. Expecting for the best, preparing for the worst.

Two more seasons is what we kind of had to expect before we started moving. Soriano's contract is finally ending and if a few of our top-5 prospects pan out, we should be fine.
The top-2, in my mind and I believe by rankings (since Jackson is starting on the big-league roster), will be on the roster, this year. We should and probably will move Garza, at the deadline. He's hurt, but teams will always overpay for proven pitching to solidify rotations. If Scott Baker pans out, we'll be beyond happy. He was an excellent risk/reward signing.
