Yes he is and many of the big names have put up poor numbers. It's way too early to forecast how things will end up though.
Having at least 6 wins after the 10th game of the season is the all important thing. The rest is just bunting. I remember the 2007 season. The 7-0 Patriots met the 7-0 Colts. A few weeks later the 10-1 Packers met the 10-1 Cowboys. Those teams were considered to be an absolute lock to meet again in the Championship Games. Some how some way the Giants found a way to 'shock the World'.

He has been having great games since the end of last season, Ryan might have a 100 rating in the end

The no huddle offense seems to be his strong suit. Looking like a potential MVP candidate with his current level of play.

Looking like a potential MVP candidate with his current level of play. i noticed the no huddle work for him last season too. i remember when they played green bay and they were going up and down the field no problem with the no huddle in the first half and for some reason in the second half they stopped using it and we all know how that game ended

In the first three games he has looked very good, he reminds me of watching Peyton Manning so far. Just like constantly calling and switching plays!

hes on a mission to win a playoff game this year. hes already an elite QB anyway IMO even before this season started I totally agree Just look at his stats from the end of last season. I know Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Tony Gonzales are all really great receivers, but how much of their success can be attributed to Matty Ice? Favre made elite WRs out of Freeman and Walker--then Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice in MN. I don't think you can get to that "next stage" without a great QB. Look at Greg Little (ok--forget about the dropsys he is suffering now) catching passes from McCoy/Weeden. Or D. Thomas in DEN last year with Tebow. Michael Crabtree (sans injury) with a still-learning-how-to-be-a-NFL-QB Alex Smith. How about Fitz's lost production (ok--this week not withstanding). Like all the greats-- Ryan has COMMAND of his offensive weapons and litany of possible plays. He knows how to read defenses, and can get his crew into the right setup within seconds. Then--he throws strikes. Ironically, in the preseason I had Ryan as the #6QB in the league. The Top5 were typical drafted in round 1/2. But I knew to wait. I got Ryan in round 5 in one league, and for a measly $7 in my auction league. Who's laughing now? ;D
