and Revis gets none of the blame??? please.... Also managed to forget to list Megatron, Smith, Andre and Roddy's game way to go. Or the game where Revis almost covered Welker the whole game for 46 yards. Smith gets most of the blame but to put it soley on him when Revis had NO ONE in his zone? cmon now. BTW it's 2 catches for 77 yards and he had over 100 yards in the game Revis gets some of it, but not MORE than Smith. And, I don't see the receivers you listed here: www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/10/29/stories-of-the-season-the-revis-10/

Nah. Iyam, you guys are expecting too much of Julio too early. Roddy is a top 3-5 WR. Julio cannot become that just yet. BTW, who are you on the NFL forums? im not one to hand gems but jones is gonna surpass that. jeremybetham i dont post on nfl forums anymore though. So Julio is going to be a top 3 WR by the end of this year. There is no way. Julio isn't even as good as AJ Green.

Meaning he will get more balls thrown his way. Most likely resulting in better stats. Julio has to compete for catches with a top 3 wideout Roddy White, and an aging but still good Tony G. He will not put up the same stats as AJ, and DEFINITELY won't put up better stats than Roddy.

AJ Green will do better than Julio..there's not any question (at least IMO). As MO said, he's competing for catches with Roddy AND Gonzo. AJ is all alone.

i cant believe so many people are writing off andre johnson as a top 3 receiver. before last season started he was undoubtedly a top 3 WR (a lot of people said he was #1) and then he gets hurt half way through the season and now hes past his prime? i still think hes top 3

Why do so many people base their position list rankings off of stats? Stupid fantasy football has ruined the way the majority of people look at football and players.
Think about it for a WR. A WR's stats, ya know catching a pass, involve a number of things that the WR has NO CONTROL over. The WR could run a perfect route and abuse the CB coverage but when he turns or looks for the ball see that the QB was sacked.
OR
The WR could slip and fall on his but in the endzone but get a lucky TD catch off of a crazy deflection or something like that.
You see the play that results in no stats is a better INDIVIDUAL play than the TD play. Thats why judging players based solely on stats can be misleading. If 2 guys have similar stats, I always give the edge to the one who is more talented. Athleticism, route running, leaping, blocking etc. The stuff that contributes to the stats.
In the end the best way to judge players, IMO, is you first have to know the game of football. That is the most important thing, then you just have to use your eyes. Watch games, watch the players and base your opinion off their play, not a box score or fantasy football. Thats stupid...
