Geno Smith was a Victim of his horrible defense. Dice it up all you want, the #'s do not lie. As for Wilson, Smiths proday was much more impressive, and they used defenders on almost half of Smiths throws. Bottom line, wilson lacks the athleticism to consistently escape the pocket or to be a threat to run with the ball, these fast OLB's and DE's will eat him alive. Enjoyed his greatest success under Bobby Petrino, whose QB-friendly attack has been known to inflate statistics... Has been knocked out games each of the past two seasons with head injuries and has only started 24 games in his career...he is a smaller verision of Phillip Rivers with a weaker arm. I really dont see him ever being a quality starter in the NFL. Our opinions differ, but will be fun to see how it all pans out. I also think Barkley will have a Matt Leinart like career.

Funny I've never heard him mentioned or even mentioned him myself...he's one of the WVU WRs... MO do you know anything about him? What year he's in, how high he's rated? Google = Friend I can't even find him on cbssports rankings.

As for Wilson, Smiths proday was much more impressive No...and if there was defenders on his throws, then I'm sure there were for Wilson's too. I just thought they threw with no defenders... And yes, numbers do lie. He throws screens and his WRs take them down field all the time.

The 1st time he was taken out of a game, he said it was concussion like symptoms, but the medicals checked out. Well look how many hits he takes because of his horrid OLine? It's a miracle he was only injured as little as he was. In comparison to an NFL team, it's about as bad as the Cards, where QBs keep getting injured.

Wilson's mobility is very underrated.

Wilson was 77 of 86 with 6 drops. Geno was 60 of 64 with 2 drops. How is Geno's "much more impressive"? That's all I know of it though.

Only time will tell, Eagle...it'll indeed be interesting to see how it all pans out..

You can find info on J.D. Woods if you look. At best he will be drafted 6-7th round because he can block really well but it is rather debatable whether he can any separation in the NFL. He is in the draft this year. In a likelihood though he will be signed as a UDFA but there is a chance that he will not even get that.
