i was thinking bruins and hawks but could be leafs or habs I am tempted to exalt you for saying the leafs:P Me saying that was pure sarcasm haha. i told you earlier the leafs are real good. look at em now they are 22-13. They are solid all around. The leafs could explode in the playoffs. Im still not ruling the lightning out tho.

Also I don't think the Pens will bust especially if Crosby is healthy in time for the playoffs. As well as Letang. They have a top 5 goalie and one of the best offensive teams in the league as well as their defense isn't bad. They will be tough to beat especially seeing as how most of their team has been there in tough games in the playoffs! I'm not so quick to exalt their defense. They've struggled, against the West, over the past years. The East is a softer style of play, overall, and it doesn't challenge them as much. I think the Bruins are the team, still.

Too much talent on that team for them to ever be out of it IMO. Also I should ease up on Ovie a bit! I have been bashing him all year and now he is tied with stamkos for league leader in goals!

5 to 7 games to go, 4 teams have clinched! Pittsburgh, Chicago, Anaheim and Montreal. Teams with over 50pts only need a few more wins to clinch and The only team mathematically out is the Panthers. Its not looking good for many others such as Calgary, Colorado, Carolina, Tampa, Philly and Nashville. I am starting to get excited the Leafs are at 51 points with 7 games left and the only way they are ahead of Winnipeg who is 9th in the conference by 7pts and Winnipeg only has 6 games left so their chances of making the playoffs are looking good as of right now, but with Toronto you can never bee to sure! I don't drink but I may have to go to the bar that has had a sign up for years saying "Free Beer every Leafs playoff game!" if they make it Boston only needs one more point to clinch if they take any game to overtime or Winnipeg loses a game they are in.. lol All in all I am getting excited for playoffs!

Chicago is solidifying itself, with Hossa back in, and the West should be scared

If chicago is the same team menatlly when the playofs start they will breeze to the cup, but we know things change in the post season. If i were a western team id be praying detriot falls out.

If I were to be honest, Detroit is the team we WANT to face. We don't want to play Phoenix, whom always plays us tough. Over the past 3-4 years, we have fared extraordinarily against Detroit and it's the confidence match-up that we really need. I'm still worried by the Blues and the Kings. Two teams that, while they have NOT come close to their potential, are stacked with talent.

I personally think that chicago will get through the west but just saying the wings get hot in the playofs. Will be interesting. The hawks pretty much play everyone good this year

The hawks pretty much play everyone good this year Except for the Ducks. THANKFULLY, we wouldn't see them until the West Finals and I do not see that happening. The rest of the West is improving against them and, perhaps optimistically, I think they see a second round exit.
