If Munerlynn wins #2.. I will NOT be happy. He is not good there, nickel/slot he is a good player.
I expect Josh Norman to win the #2 CB job.
And LaFell the #2 WR, I'll be surprised if that doesn't happen.
I haven't thought about record predictions hard, I will do another season prediction late this month (probably), but right now I say 9-7/10-6. I think if we're 10-6 we barley edge out the Lions for the last spot, if 9-7 we miss out.

How's the DT situation looking for the Panthers?

How's the DT situation looking for the Panthers? IMO.. More murky than any other. Ron Edwards (tore ACL in camp last year) should be the starting NT with Sione Fua backing him up. But there is no good three-tech DT in Carolina. Andre Neblett was the best one, but he got suspsended for PEDs. Terrell McClain is the next one (2011 3.01 pick) and he was the worst DT in Carolina last season... There is Frank Kearse but I doubt he'll over take McClain. Look for Greg Hardy to play some 3T DT next season, he weighs 299 pounds. He's been doing pretty good (aside from being an idiot off the field). So... NT is set with Edwards and Fua rotating, feel pretty good here assuming Edwards doesn't get hurt (he is injury prone, though). 3T DT will be a weak point and expect to see a McClain/Hardy rotating (with Frank Alexander and Antwan Applewhite playing DE) and Kearse getting a few snaps. As long as no one gets hurt, I think they can improve over last season, but injuries always happen.

i dont see how a 5th round pick rookie like norman is gonna start on day 1 as the #2 CB. he had a 2nd round grade, but i see no chance he starts at #2.
theres a good chance that darius butler could start at #2 i believe too

It'l either be Munnerlyn, Norman, or Hogan. Butler will most likely be the last CB on the roster.

But I have been hearing Norman is covering Smith and making Smith mad consitently. They were pushing each other almost every other play. ETA - Post 500 here... hah
