Bell hurt. Should not have played. Tomlin has make some dumbass decisions the last few years. The OL looks horrible. Starters looked bad. Whimper is out there gettin schooled by 3rd teamers. Defense looks good at least. Thank goodness. That's not on Tomlin, Bell injured the foot that was on the opposite leg of his knee injury. It's not like Bell is as important as a franchise QB. We can't expect to sit him out all preseason, the guy needs to play. But I doubt we will get that now... On the bright side David Johnson was activated from the PUP, at lest we may see some blocking from the TE position. Paulson is about useless when he's not running routes. Yes the injurues are unrelated, but He couldhave waited until the 3rd game to play Bell. I agree he had to play at some point in preseason though. And it may not end up being a big loss, especially if he can come back after the bye week or so. We will see.

According to NFL.com, Le'Veon Bell could miss up to 6 Weeks over the Lis Franc injury. Looks like we will likely get him after the Bye.

Well the OL has looked good run blocking, so maybe it won't be that big a loss. Get back soon Mr. Bell.
Of course we have to hope no OLman gets hurt. It shoul be about time for our luck to chance.

And to make this worst we make a stupid trade. They traded Adrian Robinson to the Eagles for Felix Jones. Uhg, at lest Robinson could have been the first man off the bench at OLB, Bell, LSH, and Redman are better backs than Jones, heck even Dwyer might give him a challenge for a spot...

This trade only makes sense if they are gonna put Bell on the PUP list or if Howlings or Redmans injuries are worse than they appear.
Robinson wasn't going to be a factor this year and probably not ever.
Whatever.

Well I seen Robinson as the first man off the bench if Worilds leaves next year. That's a pretty decently important piece. Now we just have Carter, Sylvester, and Baxter as long term back ups.

Steelers trim the roster to 75
RB Baron Batch
LB Stevenson Sylvester
OT D'Anthony Batiste
OT Mike Farrell
WR David Gilreath
WR Tyler Shaw
WR J.D. Woods
CB Ryan Steed
OT Mike Farrell
RB Jeremy Wright
QB John Parker Wilson
TE Peter Tuitupou
waived/injured guard Justin Cheadle and DeMarcus Van Dyke and inside linebacker Sean Spence was added to the team's regular season PUP list. Rookie defensive end Nicholas Williams was added to the reserve/injured list.
I'm guessing they cut Sylvester, Batch, Gilreath, and Woods early because they have an abundance of talent at those positions and they know these players have enough talent to make it on other teams, which resulted in their early cuts from the roster.

I hope Woods will be able to make it to our Practice Squad. I liked what he showed in Preseason.
