His 2 year contract isn't much over minimum wage and his bonuses are less than he'd get for signing. There's no way the Rams pass him up in waivers. I can't believe the Dolphins will let him get that far. I don't think the Jets will let him fall to the Dolphins. Come to think of it i'm not sure he gets past the Chiefs. Jaguars, and Raiders.
The Lions move isn't a sound move from a trade perspective but this is about setting the tone from a disciplinary point of view. If the Lions had been 'clean' last year they may have been patient and sought out a low Draft pick trade.
