I guess I am going to start this off now. With the 1st Pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select DT Star Lotulelei, Utah.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know in the past I have said the Chiefs need a QB, but they could actually settle for one in the 2nd Round such as Aaron Murray or Mike Glennon. I personally think that Star Lotulelei is the best overall player in the Draft. His combination of strength, football IQ, and athleticism is reminiscent of Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata. I think Star could fit in that same kind of role with the Chiefs. Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson are SERIOUSLY overpaid and are expendable IMO. Both could be gone soon as they are pretty much considered busts at this point in their careers. A future DL of Star Lotulelei and Dontari Poe could be dominant.

Star is a NT, Poe is a NT. Why do they need two NTs in a 3-4?

Star is a NT, Poe is a NT. Why do they need two NTs in a 3-4? I tend to agree with your line of thinking as well but perhaps the Chiefs could see it another way. Teams do try bold things like this so it isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility.

The sad thing about this pick is that it is possible. Terrible pick for the Chiefs IMO. But given our history... Anything is possible. With the second pick in the 2013 NFL draft the Jacsonville Jaguars select, Jarvis Jones, OLB Georgia Best pass rusher in the draft. They need a OLB/DE so that is what I will give them. (I don't know much about the Jags so if this pick is bad just say so)

We will keep Jackson, Poe is doing fine, Pitoutoi and Bailey can swap in and out as the other DE.

Jackson's contract situation could see him out of KC pretty soon if he doesn't develop as much as the Chiefs want him to. He voided the 2014 season of his contract and took a pay cut this year.

Jackson has played well enough to get resigned by us. We have soooo many needs we can't afford to drop a decent DE.
