I'm also kind of against the salary cap, just seems like it would be complicated o.o

We'll take the IDP out. It sounds like we have agreed on the following... - Salary Cap - 1pt per 25 yards passing - 1pt per 10 yards rushing - 6pts per rushing TD - 1pt per 10 yards receiving - 6pts per receiving TD - Defense's points for opponent's score - 2pt conversion scoring What we need to figure out. - What will the salary cap number be and how will it work? - Auction or draft to start out? - Points per passing TD (3 or 4) - Points lost for turnovers (2 or 4) - Points gained for turnovers (2 or 4) - Points gained for sacks (1 or 2) - Flat or progressive FG points - Roster settings I'm also against the salary cap, as I think this league will be hard enough without it,plus it doesnt sound like many ppl have ever done it,myself included.Which would indicate a regular online draft For the scoring settings, here's what I think Passing TD;4 points Reason;I think 3 is a little too low,if it took 2 passing TD's to equal 1 rushing TD,I think it would be a little too unbalanced. Points for lost of turnover;2 points Reason;Could a turnover possibly hurt your team more than a passing TD?That's beyond me,and even if this is 2 points and a passing TD is only 3 points, that doesn't seem to make it level, espically with the tuck rule being eliminated during the offseason. Points gained for turnovers;2 Reason; If someone turns the ball over, the scoring settings should at least be equal in terms of who loses the ball and who recovrs the ball.See my last reason for a little more reasoning. Points gained for a sack;1 Reason; If we make a sack 2 points and a fumble recovery 2 points, that would make the scoring settings too unbalanced for defense. Why would you want to root for a sack, which is much easier than getting a turnover if they're worth the same amount of points? FG points;flat Reason; We're getting to the point where 50 yards is becoming more automatic for the majority of NFL kickers. If we're gonna make it round,it should be a 50+ yard field goal being 4 points while every other made FG attempt is 3 points.XP's should be 1 point regardless, but I think didnt have anyone asking it for it to be worth more. Roster settings 1 QB 2 RB's 2 WR's 1 TE 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE) 1 K 1 DEF (assuming we're not doing IDP's) Reasoning; It's a dynasty league, plus I don't think we need to do a 2 QB league (which I hav never done, that's a little too wacky).2 RB,2 WR,we don't need to make it 3 of one or both maditory,it'll be hard some days to even get that 2nd running back receiver chosen, let alone picking a 3rd guy.TE's will pretty much be an x-factor in a lot of FF matchups, unless you have Gronk or Graham on your team.I would like for there to be a flex, but I would be okay if we took the TE position out,I wouldn't mind if we kept it in. I'm sure we've all had a day playing fantasy football where we wish we could start another TE because all of the other good WW players have been claimed throughout the week.Kicker's are kickers, and defenses are defenses.

I would think salary cap is a MUST if you guys are doing a dynasty league.

why?^
Btw, to illustrate how much salary cap changes things...I made this trade:
Flacco, Goodson, Lynch, Royster, Shorts, Keller, 2.10, 3.01, $35 mil/1 year for Daryl Richardson, Sanders, Rudolph
I'm the one who got Lynch and the rest. This was a very tough choice too. Seems extremely lopsided right?

And I've rejected many, many trades that would I would take in a heartbeat in a regular dynasty, or any league for that matter.

I just think if you are going to do dynasty, go the whole nine yards.

IMO far better than a regular dynasty I know. That's what I'm saying. The salaries the players have, how many years, it all changes things. And agreed. But I don't think this league should be a salary cap.
