Apparently we turned down signing him twice.I really like him to.Only time I ever didn't was when I was at Tbe Emirates watching us play Manchester City couple of years ago and he got sent off.We won 1-0 at the end with great goal from Arteta and virtually every one of us(Arsenal fans) did the Poznan to the City fans. Was pure quality

Balotelli looks great value at 16m to but he is a crazy sob and god knows what trouble he will get into.Could either galvanise the team or greatly destabilise it. I've always been a huge Balotelli fan for some reason. I wish he would've come to Arsenal, but I'm happy with Alexis. Balotelli lol.. What a cancer.

101mitchWell first off, I've read that article before Secondly, the majority of the "incidents" in that link don't effect the team at all. I'd like you to tell me how " A little boy on the street told Mario he was being picked on, so Balotelli went to his school and confronted the bully" or " He once gave $1,000 to a homeless guy after winning $25,000 at a casino" negatively effects Balotelli's club. I could point out a bunch of other things pointed out in that article as well, it isn't just those two. Lastly, he was clearly going for the ball in that gif. It wasn't intentional, which automatically makes it less worse than a LOT of other fouls committed in soccer. Balotelli has gotten such a bad rep over things that don't even matter.

I didn't say all of those impacted the club, but you are telling me THROWING A DART at a younger player on the squad didn't hurt the team? LMAO You could make the case he was going for the ball, but IMO he wasn't. And he was doing stuff like that all game against Uraguay, (Which is why he needed to be benched in the biggest game of his career BTW)

In no way does that hurt Manchester City's (Balo's club at the time) play on the field. That's Balotelli being a prankster off the field, nothing else. And he didn't even hit anybody with the darts, he was just playing around throwing them near the players. Lol, if you think Balotelli would intentionally jump as high as he can to knee someone in the back of the head, then I don't know what to tell you. Look at the gif closely, look at Balotelli's head. He's clearly looking in the direction of the ball trying to make a play on it. He does make some stupid decisions on the field, he does draw yellow cards pretty often when he shouldn't. But let's not act like he's the only player like that. If Balotelli is a bad influence on his team, then so is Wayne Rooney. He draws a ton of cards as well.

Danny Welbeck to Arsenal.
It's a nice signing all things considered, but I was hoping for a bigger name than Welbeck. But we really really really really (really) needed a striker, so I suppose beggars can't be choosers.
