It's possible, I was thinking of putting them on there, but then again they have massive problems and I mean massive against the run
Our whole D needs work, and I'm suspecting part of that will come form the under-coaching staff. But my main issue is right now, do we really get that good of a value in the first round? Or, should we trade down, pick up an extra pick or two and take a stab at some insurance while we are at it. Honestly, I'm looking at what I would do if I had the choice. However, barring my wish to come true, I won't be the next OC hahaha, and it will be in large part up to them what happens.
The clarify, I think we get the best value this coming year by focusing the middle part of the draft on DL and DB. I also foresee Reggie bringing in some decent (not huge name) FA's to help out this year, where-as last year we couldn't.
At the end of the day, with how everything is looking now spending a second (if we trade down) or third on a player like Lacy, Gillislee, or maybe Burkhead around the 6th if he is still there. I think Reggie will focus on value vs need instead of just filling the empty holes with who ever fits the mold.
I think Reggie is a great GM btw and he did a good job this year with what he had to work with. The Bengals really screwed you guys on the Palmer trade... I think the Raiders have some solid pieces on offense with Streeter, Moore, Heyward-Bey, Reece, and Myers. I don't know about the offensive line, but if DMC could stay healthy all 16 games all that would be left for overhaul would be the defense. I think with Reggie as GM the Raiders could be a surprise team next year.
