Orange: Florida State 35 Northern Illinois 7 No...will FSU win? yeah probably, but not by as much as people are expecting IMO...7-10 point game. They BARELY beat Gtech...beat them with a last minute pick.

Also....I HIGHLY doubt Bama wins by only 7....or even that they score 10 points...I know 10 points is like nothing but ND has no offense...23-3 is my prediction...I expect a 17-21ish point spread...ND has a good chance of being shut out

jancey-so saying that florida state BARELY beat georgia tech is a reason to say they wont blow out northern illinois? you do realise that northern illinois's resume isnt any better? come on, they lost to fricken iowa. they didnt play any impressive teams all year and they are going to a BCS bowl game. jordon lynch's story has been great and if florida state overlooks them it might be close. i dont expect them to overlook them and its gonna be an ugly game. this isnt the MAC anymore, they are playing with the big boys. northern illinois is gonna get throttled......
and notre dame has an offense. its not a great offense, but conservative with gholston at QB. alabama's offense will struggle too. notre dame's defense is alot better than alabama if you ask me. notre dame played alot of tough teams this year and IMO had the toughest schedule before the season. alabama's defense has been unpredictable at times. you might not think it will be close, but i expect it to be a slugfest and close game. i would not be surprised if notre dame finds a way to win. alabama finds a way to get it done though.....

I don't agree, Notre Dame hasn't faced anything like ALA this year and USC kept it close with Freshman QB against them. ALA runs a pro style cover 2 defense that Notre Dame's conservative offense will have never seen anything like. Playing conservative against ALA is a good way to get your defense gassed and the way ALA leans on that defense will be the difference. I expect big days by Lacy and Yeldon as they should throttle ND.
