Kap has more potential than Smith for sure and yeah, he looked like the better QB against the Bears top ranked defense... but that could just be a case of the Bears being caught off guard by Kap's style of play b/c him and Smith are basically polar opposites. I'm sticking with Smith right now, but time will tell.

This is just not even fair lol. I was not at all impressed with Kaepernick during preseason of his rookie year. After seeing what he looks like now with the guidance of Harbough's staff NFL teams are going to be picking his coaching tree clean in a few years.

in the 2011 draft, i said Dalton would be the best QB from the class (or at least the best value - which currently holds true) and that Kaepernick would be the 2nd or 3rd best QB (was not sure about Cam). So far Plax is right

Dalton better than Cam? This year, yeah, but overall still too early. Next year Cam SHOULD bounce back big, but if he doesn't than yeah, Dalton would then be called better.
