I have a question Jindred. How did that guy pick up McGahee's back up? Did he do it before the games? Hillman should have been on the ww. In our league, its more of just a free agent pool. Pick ups can be made at any time. Only players who are really on waivers are players who are just dropped. So in our league its early bird gets the worm.

I've been having a VERY average FF season. I started off hot in all of my leagues but I'm now sitting at 5-6, 6-3 (season started late), and 5-4 (another one I joined late). This week I had a shot of going 6-5 in my 6-5 league IF I had started Justin Blackmon over Jeremy Maclin. There's no way I would've done that, since Crabtree would've been next in line after Maclin.

Worst part about this, is if I had won this week, I would have garuanteed playoffs! Which I would have if not for a couple injuries.. That plus I wouldn't have been swept by my brother this year!

Hillman should have been on the ww. Hillman should have been on GY auction WW, too. BUT-- somebody snatched him up last night. (I'm not gonna name names--except to say he lives in a tree and eats with his feet.)

I have 3 runningbacks.. AP, BJGE and Magahee.. I just learned Magahee is out pretty much until playoffs.. So I go to pick up his backup and a guy who is out of the playoffs and already has 3 great runningbacks grabs him! Then I was considering making this guy an offer for one of his runningbacks.. but it turns out the Trade deadline has passed! So now I must peruse the waiver wire in search of a solid RB.. Here are my options so far J-stew Jalen Parmele Rashard Mendehall Johnathan Dwyer Andre Brown Vick Ballard Donald Brown James Starks Sigh.. my options don't look so hot atm.. In my all-girls league, I had MaGahee, too. Fortunately, I got the jump on my fellow owners and I dumped him last night for Hillman. It wasn't like he was doing THAT good this year (like Lynch good) but he's been more consistent than Reggie Bush. I have Mendy and Dwyer in BOTH my leagues. I started Mendy last week. He got me 7pts. Dwyer got 9pts. Combined 16pts isn't bad--just too bad it wasn't only one or the other. But, I'm surprised either one of them did that well. I don't think that will be happening again this week---considering PIT has NO QB. I'm sitting them both (although not dumping them) this week--possibly longer. Hopefully PIT will figure it out before the playoffs. I ran with Andre Brown a couple weeks during the bye. He did well. He has been consistently getting the goal-line touches. (And Bradshaw can't seem to shake that foot injury.) I also think GB is gonna try to run more with Starks. He was a monster for them down the stretch on their run to the SB two years ago. Look for Green to wither away on the bench and Starks quickly become the every down back. That said-- I'd pick up J Stew and be confident starting him. He's no MaGahee, but then MaGahee also wasn't an AP.
