My youngest daughter who lived here in Cali. Is going to the University of Cincy. She just rented a place, got a Ohio drivers license and was considered a resident of Ohio. Way less tuition. Sometimes that's the best way to do it. I remember you were talking about her not long ago too, when you went up there. Really proud of your niece too, didn't mean to go off subject lol. You'll have to tell her the grave yarders say right on. Then probably spend an hour explaining to her what a grave yarder is.

America has made higher education a business instead of a state facility. You can get any number of loans, grants, and scholarships, as long as the price is right for the school. You speak the truth Shaggz. It is not uncommon to hear tuition numbers in the 40k per year range. I have several friends that are doctors that live a more simply life than I do because of the student loan burden. An architect intern in our office pays about 1,000 a month in student loans. When she started school the average pay for her right out of school should have been about 75k. She now makes 45k after being out of school for 3 years. Crappy economy. I am hoping for some sort of student loan/tuition reform soon, but am not holding my breath. I won't go into details here since we have an abortion political thread already set up. shoot... 40k per year?? Even some of our top universities don't have that kind of tuition. University of Toronto's tuition is 25k for an international student... I have the oppertunity for free tuition but not really the school I want to go to didn't mean to go off subject lol. Stupid Ace sidetracked me!

What schools are you looking into? Any in the US? I considered applying to McGill, but decided against it. doubt I'll be applying to any of the schools in the US... not that I wouldn't want to but I heard the tuition is crazy expensive plus I'm not even sure what an ACT or SAT is. Considering Waterloo, Guelph, Ottawa among other Universities Is Queens on the list?

Competing schools, where I'd have to be there in person and for 4 years was like $69K+ I was thinking about studying abroad, but ended up in a relationship and couldn't stand to leave them here while I was gone, especially for that long.
