Like I said, I wouldn't fault him for leaving and would respect his decision if he did. There is a selfish side of me that really wants him to come back though, haha. He would be a MONSTER next year if he stays and develops as expected. Is Hardaway Jr leaving? I think he has the skillset to be a top scorer on a team. Still undecided. Nobody knows anything yet about Michigan's 3 draft picks (Burke, THJ, GR3) except for that Burke is gone. I think THJ should and will leave though, I think this is the highest his draft stock will get.

My clarification would be that his passing leads to inefficient shots. His floor vision is poor because he tends to pass and try to get an assist, not to move the ball.
I would never question his ability to score, but his ability to move the ball NEEDS to improve as that's his most important role, at the point. I see Smart and MCW far more developed in this aspect. Smart's shot selection is a little better, but Burke was making everything so I cannot penalize him there. Furthermore, his defense is a little risky and he could work on his footwork a bit more.
I have him third and think he could be a solid starter.

Although, there is really no way to prove this with facts so it is kind of useless to debate. I do agree on his defense. What makes you think Smart and MCW are more developed?

I have now watched both Burke and Smart play KU... Burke is better.

Was he even good this year? I know he was very highly touted out of HS, but I didn't really hear his name all year.

Was he even good this year? I know he was very highly touted out of HS, but I didn't really hear his name all year. He only averaged 7.2 ppg and 6.3 rpg last season. He did have a double-double (13 points 10 rebounds) in the loss against Wichita State in the 1st Round of the NCAA Tournament though, but he is a VERY raw player at this point in his career. He also said he was coming back 2 weeks ago, so this is very sudden. The fact is, he has 18 siblings, so people are speculating that he might be going to provide for his family.

Well I hope he gets drafted. And 18? That's just absurd

I'm surprised they don't have Nate Wolters on the top 5 PGs list. I'd take him over Kabongo any day.
