Walker didn't have better stats. Gates and Bennett had more yards and TDs with more targets. Gates scored 7 more TDs. But He was targeted more, and he is the Chargers Redzone guy. Bennett was just targeted -alot- more. (33 times more). So of course he'll produce more. Efficiency stats I think lean more towards Kelce. And he clearly has higher upside than Gates or Bennett at this point in the careers. So what they were targeted more? If we're going by receptions per target, then Kelce was one of the best TEs, better than Gronkowski and Graham. Walker was targeted more, and he was the team leader in targets, receptions and yards. I'm sorry. Bennett was targetted 33 more times, and had 50ish more yards and 1 more TD. That's hardly the same as saying Kelce is in the same league as Gronk because of his catch %. Gates in his prime is far and away a better pass catching TE than Kelce. But Gates is a year older next year, who knows how he plays. But the only stat that separated him from Kelce this year was TDs. Which while impressive, has a lot to do with the fact he is their main Redzone go to guy.

lol inflated stats? Jake Locker had the worst year of his career when he was healthy, Whitehurst was awful, and Mettenberger mostly threw it to Hunter and Washington.
While Walker is clearly the most talented target on the offense, he was NOT getting fed one bit. Most of his stats was due to being electric with the ball in his hands. Watch his impossible long touchdown against the Cowboys for proof of that.
Whether or not the Titans other targets were any good, Wright was targeted 93 times, Washington 72, and Justin Hunter (adjusted for missing 4 games) 83 times. Walker was just barely the #1 target in a pretty even group. Meanwhile, if you apply that same logic to the Chiefs and Saints, I'm sure Travis Kelce would be hurt by it much more.
And just once again, Graham had Brees throwing him the ball, Gronk had Brady, Witten had Romo, Bennett had Jay Cutler, and Kelce had Alex Smith. Walker caught balls from three injured QBs who might not have made the roster in New England last year. As far as stats go, Delanie Walker was not benefiting.

Kelce was #2 in targets on the Chiefs. 9 less than Bowe. #3 was... Jamaal Charles. So. take that as you will. But our targets were hardly reliable all season due to various juggling of pass catchers and injuries. I smiled a lot when you included Alex Smith on your list. Until I realized you put Cutler down too. And then I just said eh.

These comparisons can be misleading, because Jimmy Graham had 37 more targets than Kelce for 27 more yards and 5 more TDs. And yet Kelce isn't ahead of Graham. They don't take into account how the player wil be next year, but I thought Gates would be in because of his past stats, and because he was one of their favorites in early Madden versions.

Top 5 Offensive Linemen rankings added.
I am kinda pissed that they grouped OL together and didn't do Top 5 LT, LG, C, RG, RT.

Well, it looks like you can sign a 95 overall guard on the first day of franchise mode. Seems legit madden.

I find it odd that we haven't see Bowman play in over a year and yet he is still the third best LB in the league. Also, how is Von Miller not up there?
