I still can't believe this case got to the SC. States have to honor contracts of other states. If you disagree with this ruling, do you also disagree with paper money and interstate highways?

There's a few people on other forums saying SCOTUS overstepped their bounds with this ruling. Idk if it's true or not. If it is true though I honestly don't care, because there's nothing to complain about.

If it is true though I honestly don't care, because there's nothing to complain about. Funny you should say that. I was just wondering if this is a done deal or if we are going to back and forth still. You know appeals, challenges, individual states making their rules, etc. Seems like we do that a lot with a lot of different things. Like pot and same sex marriage One day its legal one day its not.

This is pretty much as close to a done deal as you can get from what I understand. There will continue to be Republicans who are against this ruling that will support adding a constitutional amendment for states that want to ban gay marriage. Their efforts probably won't change anything if I say so myself. Being against gay marriage isn't a popular stance these days.
