So I was 0-2 in the last picks, which makes me 3-5 on the year so far. Only 2 games are national televised the next 3 days, so here's my picks on them. PicksYankees @ Orioles - The Yankees have continued to fail me the past week, losing to both Toronto and Boston. Prehaps I should not do it again, but I feel they have to get it done soon. So I'll go Yankees 2 out of 3 upset here. Mariners @ Dodgers - Prehaps a world series preview here since I picked both teams to make it there. Neither team has started out the way I expected though, but something will give. I'll go with the home team, Dodgers win 2 out of 3 Dude....don't be a closet Junkee fan k. Damn. Plenty of other squads to predict on. In other great news. Jacob DeGrom, the reigning NL ROY, shut out CoCs Philly's today....DeGrom is 7-0 with a 0.98 ERA at the Citi Field in his short career....I expect another shutout by Harvey tomorrow. What you think Mania?

What you think Mania? I only picked out the games that were nationally televised, and unfortunately the Yankees are almost always on national TV. If I had to make picks for every other series, it would be too time consuming. MLB.com screwed up there national TV schedule online, and forgot to post most of there games on MLB network. They fixed it on Tuesday, but by then most of those series choices already started a day before. But from here on out, I can make more picks now. Now for the Mets, they look like a top 10 team right now. They already beat the Nationals who were suppose to be one of the best teams. Sadly they lost to the Braves who were pegged by many to suck this year, but the Braves also look very good right now. Prehaps too early still though.

Ok, so I was 1-1 on my latest picks, which makes me 4-6 on the year. Time to rack up some more wins now that MLB.com fixed there schedule.
Picks
Phillies vs Nationals - Both teams don't look good right now. Nationals still have more potential though. But its a 4 game series, so I'm going to say this series gets split 2-2, so this pick won't count towards my record now.
Marlins vs Mets - Mets look like a contender so far, while the Marlins look like the worst team in the NL. I like the Mets here winning 3 out of 4 on this one.
Diamondbacks vs Giants - Last week I picked the Diamondbacks over the Giants in a series, and they didn't win. But despite that, the Giants actually look worse than the D-backs right now. This time I'm picking the Giants to win 3 out of 4.
White Soxs vs Tigers - Tigers once again stay as good as they are, and the White Soxs are struggling right now. Going with the Tigers to win 2 out of 3 here.
Orieles vs Red Soxs - Both teams are good, but the Red Soxs are definitely looking way better. But I'm going with an Orieles upset 2 out of 3 here.
Yankees vs Rays - Rays actually look very good, and the Yankees are close to the worst team in the league. I can't believe I'm doing this again, but I'm going to be persistent and say Yankees finally win and with a sweep.
Rangers vs Mariners - Mariners aren't starting out as hot as people hoped, but the Rangers are right where people expected still. Going with the Mariners to win 2 out of 3.
Reds vs Cardinals - Saving the best for last. Cardinals and Reds both look good so far, but the Cardinals already beat the Reds once on the road, and it won't get any easier for the Reds here. I hate to say it, but the Cardinals will sweep the Reds here.

Great Padre/Cubs game today. 6-2 cubs in the ninth. NEVER give up on my new and improved Padres. Tied it up with five hits and four runs in the top of the ninth. Lost in the eleventh but boy it was fun for once. This year is totally different than years past. We can hit. And we are gaining team chemistry. Hitting is contagious.

Jays had an interesting game today against the Braves. In the Bottom of the 8th Bautista hit a 2 run homer to take a one run lead. In the 9th the Jays gave up a 1 run homer to tie it up. Fastfoward to the 10th and Josh Donaldson hits a walk off Dinger to win the game. Was an exciting finish!

I'm ready to give up on baseball season now. Reds started out 4-0 and now have lost 6 out of there last 7 games. And to make things worse, they are 1-4 against the Cardinals.

Yeah but I despise to filthy deadbirds.....er I mean redbirds as much as the Steelers and Notre Dame. But the Reds get dominated by St.Louis more than any other team I've seen. Reds get there first primetime game of the year tonight, and you will see how bad the Reds play against them if you watch tonight.

For a team with six straight losing seasons, no playoff berths in nine years, and just one in the past 15, this is a big deal. The Mets might actually be good, and much like 42 year old fat boy Bartolo Colon's continued success, it’s been delightfully surprising.
