Mets will push for .500 but no way do I think they stay in the hunt for a wild card spot. Colon still our day 1 starter. Laff. Can't wait for our First founder from thee Oregon State Michael Conforto to make his first appearance. Getting rave reviews in triple A. Finally a real bat.

I should add that I added the a list of games that will be nationally televised this year on the first page if anybody wants to check out what other games there are to watch.
Based upon what games are on TV for everyone to see, here's who I see winning the following televised series games.
Picks
Cardinals @ Cubs - Cardinals already won last night against the Cubs, but I actually think the Cubs will still prevail and win 2 out of 3 here.
Blue Jays @ Yankees - Both teams look like they are in the middle of the pack right now. Blue Jays destroying the Yankees right now, but I'll still go with 2 out of 3 for the Yankees.
Mets @ Nationals - Nats are the best team in the league IMO right now, and the Mets are looking to make some noise this year. Going with the Nats to win 2 out of 3 here.
Indians @ Astros - Indians are a world series material team this year, and they play the Astros who are still trying to get better. Indians pull out a sweep in a 3 game series.
Giants @ Diamondbacks - Giants are looking to defend the crown, while the Diamondbacks are near the bottom of the barrel. But I see the D-backs pulling the upset and winning 2 out of 3.
Red Soxs @ Phillies - Red Soxs are another playoff contender, while the Phillies look like the worst team in the league. Red Soxs will only get 2 out of 3 here.
Padres @ Dodgers - Dodgers are my pick to win the world series, while the Padres are looking to also make noise this year. Going with the Dodgers to win 2 out of 3 here though.

ok cityofchamps , time to find out if the Pirates are ready to take the next step or not. I will admit that they look like the best team in the division right now, and they have world series material right now. Despite that though, I'm going with the Reds here to win 2 out of 3 just because of the pitching matchups and its at home for the Reds. Game 1: Historically, Liriano does not matchup well against the reds, aside from that playoff game in 2013. Overall he is only 1-5 against the Reds. Cueto on the other hand is 18-5 against the Pirates. Also on opening day, Cueto has a 0.86 ERA. Edge: RedsGame 2: This will be the closest game of the series IMO. Cole is only 0-1 against the Reds, while Leake is 6-3 against the Pirates. Both are young and up and coming pitchers. I'm going to homer it up here though. Edge: RedsGame 3: Burnett is a seasoned veteran, while the Reds will have a new guy starting in DeSclafani. While Burnett is only 7-6 against the Reds in his career, with the Pirates he's actually 5-3. DeSclafani has only made 5 career starts, all with the Marlins. It's his first career game with the Reds, so I think he gets destroyed. Edge: Pirates

Game 1 Pads vs Dogers. Pads win 2-0.
Pads sweep the three game series. Our pitching is to good. I know I know Kershaw! I'm not skeerd.

Yay, Jays win opening game at Yankee Stadium 6-1 Its a long season, but its always nice to start out with a win, especially against the Yankees! Looks like Hutchinson Pitched a good game. 6 innings, giving up 3 hits 1 run and striking out 3 batters. I'd take 1 run in 6 innings every day of the week!

Cool story bro, but you have to win the first game in order to sweep a series. And after that Reds win, that's not possible now. Have fun trying to 1up the series on Wednesday.

Padre Dodger game was fun to watch last night. Pads 7 Dogers 3. I really really REALLY like our new closer. Craig! He came in in the ninth and had never thrown one pitch to our catcher. He struck out he side on I think nine pitches. I love his attitude and antics on the mound. He has the weirdest stance when checking out the sign I have ever seen. Well next to the bird Fidrych. It wasn't a save situation but I liked it.
I also like our new catcher Norris so far. I think I will name him Scrappy do.
